Brian

You have taken it to an inappropriate childlike level.

I clearly apologized for my statement to Chronos as soon as my idiocy was pointed out by Sunsally. And prior to anyone else commenting. She as I noted was completely right about putting Chronos in the post but otherwise the post rings true and is not spam.

Adding all your statements after the subject is played by the parties involved, with the language and stuff, is weird.

My post did not direct people to ITBG but a possible printing solution called vistaprint (publicly traded) that is the largest in the country.

You may call Alan (if he is still around) anytime to find my status here. I refer all people on my website, for over 2 years over 20,000 so far, to this one in an agreement I have with Alan. He also was nice enough to offer free advertiser placement which I declined as he was providing a nice service for my members and I felt it was the right move to give my site placement away and support him. And it certainly worked well for him.

I may be old fashioned in the way I do business but it has worked for me for over 40 years.

So am I an advertiser on here (sponsor). I guess I am even though I don't have one and even though I don't really aggressively push my thing on here at all. Review the posts my history is clean baby.

If memory serves I also offered you a way to dramatically expand your business and asked for no money in return.

I try my best to mostly just answer questions or clear up statements specifically about ITBG. Not sure why I first entered this thread. (regretting it totally now)

Actually, you aren't a sponsor here pal and after your great professional posts in this thread, I dont see you ever being one in the future.

When you started, you did reach out and contact me about promoting our forum because "you didnt want that headache". As for it working well for me????? Please, I got nothing from being your "official forum". Why? Because we were already established and ALL of your clients were already TanToday members before you opened your "service". So lose the, "I helped you out a ton" attitude because (a) you are lying or (b) you believe your own press or (c) all of the above.

Folk, all the sponsors that came on under my watch were handpicked after being researched. Just because they had money to throw at me, didnt mean their banners appeared here. Other forums, I cannot say the same.

In conclusion, the Buyers Group is not a sponsor and they have not provided any value to this forum that I am aware of.

"Regarding adding your info to my forum link the image needs to be a standard 486 x 60. I'd replace the "tantoday" image with yours. Last time I checked the hits over to his servers was in the many thousands probably over 10k by now. I can put that up for free and I'd call you my partner forum provider. Free don't want any money just want to send people to a good place and so I don't have to run a forum.

My information is below. If you or the site owner. My information is below. If you or the site owner needs to speak with me they are welcome to call or email me."

Just to show you how "loved" you are on other forums, above is the email you sent to another Admin on another site. They feel you are a little snakelike as well. Please, take us off of your "official forum" status. We don't want it nor do we need it. Take credit for what you have created. Do not take credit for something you had nothing to do with. We clear?

10,000 hits a month from you? Please learn how to read web stats. Your server was showing 10,000 hits because you were hosting the banner on your server. Everytime someone on your site looked at your banner pages, all those banners got hits. Hits doesnt mean they went anywhere because according to our Webalizer program which tracks where traffic is coming from, you were not in the top 100 sites referral wise. What does this mean? It means, less than 4 people a month came from your site to ours. I say less than 4 per month because the dropoff stops after 4 visits per month.

Thanks for trying though!

Dave with all due respect I will agree with Brian. The shit is getting quite deep. You took a jab at Chronos and once you realized they had heavy support on line you retracted your position not because you wanted to because it is a PR move on your part. You will put down others and say whatever it takes as long as it is to your advantage and helps you and the buyers group out and your vendors assigned to it. In February I contacted you about the group and you had nothing but negative things to say about this forum then wanted to exchange banners ***talk.com (with respect to this forum I put in the *). At that time I put you in contact with Michael Chunn because of possible business Michael decide to re launch his buyers group under a different name (which I have nothing to do with). Point is your telling Brian his behavior is childlike. What exactly would the term be for yours then? I clearly don't see it being professional. Or your history and posts being clean as a baby as you stated but more smoke and mirrors.

However people whom do know me know that I'm a straight shooter. I just thought we all needed a reality check here. Before you kept passing along the kool-aid.

You didn't. Thanks for the scoop on how mail advertising works from the inside. We welcome more posts like that. Much appreciated.

I've done two mailers with ACH and they went very well. I have had Chronos do some in-house marketing pieces and they were great. I'd recommend both.

I've talked with Vista Prints in the past. They had good prices if you used their generic pieces. They may offer custom design now, it's been a few years since I consider them.

Exactly, Vista is great for people that like, or can, do part of the work themself. I don't have the time, so I want a turn-key product. Cost a little more, but if I had to be involved, it wouldn't get done.

This thread is ugly and shows tanning industry and salon owners as a bunch of clowns and gossip queens (he said/she said, old e-mails, tantalk communication yada-yada). Dave made mistake, Din and W8 said its fine, we understand, but everyone else just decided they need to taste some blood.
Again Dave made a mistake. We all do. Maybe i am making mistake right now typing this.
But dont forget that there are hundreds and hundreds of salon owners that should kiss Dave's azz because they were getting 10-20% discount from distributors and thought they are on top of the world. Now thru ITBG they are getting 50-60% off.
When certan was spamming about Tanses he was getting 19000 warnings, Tan America or Prosun spam, continuous spam of Supra lamps that are not even that great by half of the members including the ones that have no relation to the company and just wanted to be kissass to Supra guys. But when Dave said one thing about his partner Vistaprint - everyone just tried to slit his throat.
Half of the posts in this thread is edited - says something to you?
