I may only wrap the areas I can get myself,
That would be just about everywhere ;D

take the arm bands and put them under your neck and between the shoulder blades

throw a towel over them as those have no dial control.

first time start out at 70% or so, keep the unit where you can reach it, as set up water, tea, TV remote etc, FIRST, as there's no maid service !!

just like clients, start wrapping the legs, and work your way upwards.

you'll love it.

Din- After my second son, I stayed a size 10, I hated it!!! I tried everything too, I had a trainer for 10 months... This thing melted all my fat and kept my muscle. I am so so happy, so is my husband, he said I was bloated for 5 years!

YES, hell no am I ever going back to a 10, i am done having children and my metabolism has changed. I eat better, brought exercise bands to work and an exercise ball. I do lunges up and down my hall, and I will wrap on that thing until it blows up! It is amazing, it is what helped jump start my weightloss and gave me the boost I needed because I saw fast results.

I just tried it, I didn't wrap my arms as it was a little tough to do it in the first place, and I'm not trying to lose anything there. I laid one of the pads over the shoulder I had surgery on and it seemed to feel good.

I really didn't sweat that much?? maybe I need to be on 90? pads were wrapped fairly snug and I was covered

My heart felt like it was up

Maybe you don't have that much to sweat out. It was intense my first time. Still best to use the arm wraps. The pads just don't work the arms, they help to heat up the rest of the body. If you start removing pads it will decrease the overall effect.

I don't sweat when I use it. I guess I'm one of those women who just "glisten" -- 'cause even when I exercise, I don't sweat much. But it is definitely having a positive impact!

Are you hydrated? It is really important to hydrate with 8 - 10 glasses the day before and drink plenty of water during. I have also noticed that after the second wrap people tend to sweat more. The more water you drink the more willing your body is to sweat, if you are not hydrated your body will try to store extra fluids.

thats what i thought we'd use, then I laid under a nylon blanket that feels liek fleece and I think i liked that better, but I dunno. Sheets are easier to wash. This is the week I'm going to start eating better and hopefully working out a bit too

I just used my thermojet tonight on the highest level, it was so fricken hot but I toughed it out. I used the gels and the osmotic film, I was so sweaty! Do you use the film? It really makes a difference in drawing out the sweat. I have done wraps in every level of heat, with and without the gels, with and without the osmotic film. I like the gels and the film the most, I see the best results that way. I have even tried cheapo over the counter firming gels and they work just as good as the manufacturers too.

Osmotic film, that's new to me. Can you provide some info on it. Including where to purchase and how much it costs?

I get here every morning early and wrap myself. I go at either 90% or 100% for the full hour. Sweat like mad but I can see the fat melting away. Last week I did it 5 days and lost 6 pounds. I put one of the arm pads across my upper back/shoulders and the other one I just lay on top of my hips. It's lovely being here all by myself watching a movie before I start my day.

I lay a large bath towel on the massage bed and another one goes on top of the client. Easy to wash afterwards and it keeps the heat in well.

Put a sheet down on the chair and a fleece blanket over the customer to keep them warm and have them sweat out tons.

Wash all blankets together at end of day. They take 1/4 the time to dry so it doesn't take much. We also have a wine fridge to keep the water chilled (not cold) which holds 8 bottles of water. Also acts as a table next to them to put their water or magazines on top of.

Speakers for quieter listening...as they won't turn it up full blast cuz they'll go deaf.

And a small fan next to them that they could turn on to add more comfort.

I thought about putting a fan in, but isn't that counter productive?

A fan is a must! You are warming the inside of the body not the outside per say. You need a fan.

I turn the fan on during the last 15 minutes of the session and put it near their face. It doesn't change how much they sweat, I have clients that want the fan on the whole time too. I also bring them a wet towel, not chilled but wet and they put it on their neck or forehead. Din I like your setup, very nice! As soon as we get our satellite approved from the home owners association I can add my plasma. For now I have the new ipod and I download tv shows and movies and put it on my speaker doc. It works for now.
