Hall of Famer

Depending on the cash situation this summer, I'd like to add another service in. I'd consider hydration station or a table based hydro massage unit.
The goal is to live with the tanning units I have for now and become more of a day spa. Are these units worth it, are they reliable enough to purchase used. What is expected per session rev. |

Hi, I am a newbie, took over the salon in January. The first thing I did was buy a Hydration Station. Two other salons in the area already had the hydromassage. We are getting great results from the hydration, our clients enjoy the spa like feature, but it also darkens their tans. Syber has been great with training, delivery, setup, and support. I have not used the slimming part yet, but am gearing up now.I want a skin rejuvenator now! |

Hey EliteMike, Don't know your location and client base, but my wife had a Hydromassage in her day spa and it was well received. It was used almost daily till she hired a massage therapist. After that, the use dropped (the therapist was wonderful though). It was in her shop till we had to move due to my job. She was in Macon, Ga and she was charging $10 for 15 min. and $17.50 for 30 min. sessions. We still have the unit and would like to sell it. It is powered up and she and I use it weekly. We bought it used and have had it for 5 years now with no trouble at all. I just replaced the barrier about 10 hours ago (recommended once a year but first time for this one) and no other expenses other than water replacement for the entire period. We are asking $5500 for it with 240 hours of use. Would be happy to send more info and pics if you are interested. This is an AquaMed Prestige Series (2003 model), 220 volt. My direct email is robin_lipford@hotmail.com. We are located in NC.
