Instead of HID/hp (High Intensity Discharge/high pressure), call it what it is, i.e., a "MTP" (Maximum Tanning Power) system.

I don't care what you say Drew. I am not going to stop calling my bed the turbo mega maxi high pressure combo ultra giant tan monster. You can't make me. After all, it has 32 lamps and a facial and most of the bulbs light up.

OMG, forgot about thisone..Kimmy Carasco, national sales chick with Versaspa used to own a salon in Oceanslime California...Nice salon in the 90's.
She called her high uvb tanning bed the OVEN. It had flames painted on the door and the walls next to the door in the lobby. AND FRIGGING PEOPLE WENT IN IT!!!!

I was there installing an Ultrabronz and I NEVER saw one Jew go in that bed!!! Fo' Rizzle

Funny thing is, is that it isn't just 1 salon. It is most of the salons in this entire area. And I mean a very broad area, like the entire west side of the state. There are probably a few that actually know and try to educate their customers correctly but this is just what I find the majority of my customers are telling me when they start up with me.

Right next to my 60/200 watt stand up that gets used once every other day,I have my saturn witch I refer to as "God's own verticle".I tell them this before I show it to them ,it's an 08 model ,so when they see it they agree.And that is why the regular one get's used every other day.

Island, many customers have called and asked for the Presurized beds, the Pressure beds and the best one, the Hydro Pressure bed which I took to mean a fire hose or a Dam, fine tan.

regarding the Megalicious bed....doesn't bootylicious sound like licking ass?
