I was running a 15 minute Matrix with the old wire lead system. Over a year ago, I switched to John's Iso kit and never looked back. Changed the session down to 12 minutes, customers never complained and love the session. Also saves my lamp life, since those extra 3 minutes were killing them and I could hardly get 500 hours on my wire leads.

I have an earlier Matrix with the poor column cooling system. I recently purchased a newer Matrix with the Tan America reflector and will be eager to compare.

Regina, I'll save you a new ISO Reflector set when they come in. You'll see a huge a difference in the 2.

Get rid of the the TA kit ASAP. The BS blade connectors will break when you're changing lamps and their performance is poor. Lamp life is DISMAL with the TA plug-ins.

I would get the ISO kit and have them installed with the bed. The TA kit/lamps went straight to the dumpster.

Heartland has developed a brand new retro kit. It kicks butt. The TA kits had some design isuues but now that Heartland has taken over they have develope a much better retro. It utilizes standard type lamps so you will NOT be stuck buying from just one supplier. The performance is much better as well.

Why aren't these two holding Solarmeters? Then I could "spice up" my boring website.

Is this the same Iso Kit for a couple year ago? Or are you saying it is different?

Are you asking for the percentage of UVB in the new matrix lamps?

Yes, it does have a bit more B and some nice browning in the face. So a tinge of red that browns out very quickly.

ok, sounds like my 650. a bit of reddening induced instant wow color....on those whom can tolerate a bit of extra B...induced HP.
