Default psoriasis treatment and high pressure

does the filtering effect of high pressure beds have a reduced
effect on people using the beds for psoriasis?

had a customer that came from out of state that used a hp
and said that he did not get as much of a relieving effect...
could it be old bulbs or does the filtering come into play.

Of course it wont work well, UVB is needed of which little is found in HP. High UVB beds are best, typically the base beds.

1.8% of UVB from HP out of 100 is 1.8 right?

5.0% UVB out of 42-45 is 2.1...not really much difference.

It's in the difference between the HP lamps, filters and the tubes... How they "tan" your skin...

Yes, the best beds to use are the old Sundash Platinum 10 minute beds, They usually come with a lamp that is 7.5-8.5% UVB.

The Derms use FS lamps that are 65% UVB, yes 65% not 6.5%. The exposure time is about 2 minutes, then they give you some UVA with a standard 100W 2.6% lamp. The FS lamps are usually sold for $89-$100 each.

National Biological sells many of these units
Phototherapy Equipment for treatment of psoriasis and vitiligo. Phototherapy is effective; phototherapy treatment - phototherapy - uvb home phototherapy psoriasis - uv home phototherapy - UVB phototherapy.* Phototherapy is safe. Phototherapy units ma

You like the claims they can make?

lets not forget using a pure tanning lotion to help the uv get driven in deeper to help even more. we've found all units help according to what our clients tell us but traditionally, its the high output UVB driven lamps. cheap alternative to a derm! most decent derms will send us clients.

We have a stand up unit that uses 9.5% UVB lamps and it works really good for this. Just had a new customer yesterday. It's a 12 min max tan time but most people who come in with psoriasis have fair skin so they do 4 minutes to start.

hp is best for exema, high B is best for psoraisis.

Had many customers like hot action tingle products for help with the psoraisis too.
