Angry ultrabronz and miracle sun

ultrabronz - got a nice looking $34k machine thats only partially functional. Ultrabronz's tech support asks me if I have any ideas to fix it.

miracle sun -I asked for the damn radio to get fixed a couple months after i got the machine. i guess they're trying to wait for my damn warranty to end and lucky for them.. it did.. bastards..

TCA

Next time try giving us the whole story and not just the quick version on how you think you got screwed over.

I very much doubt that either one of these company's would say " do you have any ideas to fix it"

Here's the deal with the Ultrabronz 850 that I have. There is a problem with the fuses burning out and buttons getting stuck. There is a problem with the design of the 850 and is common to every 850 machine. This has caused complications such as customers getting stuck in the machine, and getting burnt because the midsession bell didnt go off. Luckily these customers were friendly and walked away. I tried to work with Ultrabronz to get the issue resolved, but they refused to comply. I asked them if they would have any upgrades to fix the problem, but they said that wont happen. I asked to have it replaced with the 950 and of course they said no. When they asked me if i had any ideas I decided to make custom upgrades so the machine would be fully functional. After 3 months of trying, I finally realized if I was able to do this, I would be manufacturing my own tanning beds.

And with the Miracle Sun Saturn, I'll pay for the damn radio. just have it fixed!!! I've been calling them for about 6 months now. I guess if I'm persistent they'll one day have it fixed. I would fix it myself, but I dont know anything about Italian electronics.

With the Saturn did you buy it Brand New and if so did you buy it from Miracle Sun?

When did you buy the Saturn?

Who at Miracle Sun have you talked to about this problem?

Now I am not an Electrician but with the stereo that comes with the unit, just buy a new stereo from your local stereo shop and hook it up the same way that you unhooked it.

In regards to the Ultrabronz problem what bed are you referring to when you say the 850? Does it have another more common name that we might know it as?

Again when did you buy it and from whom did you buy it from?

Who at Ultrabronz have you had try and help you with this.

Yes, I bought the Saturn from Miracle Sun brand new last year. I've talked to each of the co-owners of TanTech, Sun Italia and Miracle Sun, but was a complete waste of time.
The Stereo is an Italian brand. Its not a direct plug and play with a domestic unit.
The 850 is the Ultrabronz Indulgence.

Yah, Tantech is pretty lackluster on the service lately. They have really got to pick it up. Pretty sad when you spend over 100K with them.

Sorry I haven't seen this earlier. I have been out of the Country until this morning. Any car stereo you purchase will be compatible with this unit. If any of my customers in the past have problems with the stereo, I always have them fax me the invoice and I will reinburse you. thanks

Al

P.S- If you need assistance putting the stereo in, please call our office at 800-449-9826

The worst thing you can say about the Saturn is that the Euro Radio ain't top of the line ???

Next complaint will be the speakers are too small and 'tinny' also.

This booth tans like a mutha, though I didn't hear you say anything about that.

I personally modified my booth in two ways.

First I replaced the radio with a Sony Auto CD stereo, under $100 at Best Buy brand new with replacement warranty, and wired it to only go to the built-in headphone jack for individual music.

Main reason for that is simplicity in control. It's hard enough to explain the ONE additional button client must press to actually start the unit, less trying to educate them on how to operate the background music I guess actually listening to what's said, and common sense have not been taught in the school system in the past 20 years

I then ran speaker wiring to 2 NEW box-type outddoor speakers, mounted on the booth, with a volume control for control of the 'house music' by the client.

With this setup, it satisfies ALL cloices, mainly because I don't want someone blasting the latest in rap songs at full volume throughout the salon, ever.

Didn't even consider *****in' bout a radio for god sakes.

Al, wanna still send me a check for the Sony ???

Sparky,

No problem Brother. Fax me a copy the receipt, and a check will be in the mail. I agree with you 100% on the stereo, it looks nice. But the Italians just don't have a clue on hooking up speakers and stereo's.

Fax # 574-537-9333

Thanks
Al
P.S - Our office will be relocating, so this fax # will work for the next 10 days.

I've never made a big deal about the stereo when I talked to the guys at Miracle Sun. I've asked nicely each time, and its really starting to piss me off. They just say, "oh I'll come have that fixed tommorrow~~ " That has dragged for about 6 months now. And sparky, "do you have a wiring diagram to convert from an Audiola to a Sony??"

A radio is the least of my tanning bed problems. We have a friend in Utah who has a Saturn HP. The really swear by it. It isn't the only HP they own though so the custoemrs understand it. And they don't use the radio in the bed.

He also said ,when I called him two minutes ago, about Miracle Sun or Tan tech's service, that Tan Tech helps him and is the best company he deals with for all his big beds.

Don't know anything about Ultrabronze except from the boards and most of it isn't good. We won't be a guinnea pig however.
