| Here is my question. I have a room available and I want to incorporate HP into my studio. Obsticle #1: we are only single phase, #2 amperage issues (see below). I have 60 available in the room already, I also have another 30 avail from a room that was used for another Sundash 232, but now houses Mystic. Can that 30amps be re-routed into the proposed HP room and the breaker changed to accomodate a larger unit? Otherwise I will have to have more power run into the room and as we all know that gets even pricier... I want something like a Matrix or even a Magic 636, but as it stands all is can "afford"(amperage wise) is an N'joy and I want to crush my comp with their older omegas and Future Suns. Thanks Guys/gals for any info on this. |

If I kept things the way it is I was going to add the N'joy just to add HP to the salon and call it a day. But I really want to get something to CRUSH my comp's older equipment only if it is feasible on price to add more power to the room. If not I may just add another Sungate as I know I have enough for this. I really want HP pretty badly and have enough $$$ to purchase the unit, I am just worried to see what one is the best fit for my limitations. |

If they have semi Hi Pressure (hybrid) from Future thats a strong unit. Forget about a Velocity. Beautiful machine but weak at best. You will need a Magic or Matrix. Check with your electrical company and see if your out side transformer has the capacity for a heavier amp load. If not you will need a transformer too. If they are supporting an Omega and a couple Future Suns client wise you can make money with a Magic. |

It may not look better but it will most likely (depending on what you get) outperform your comp and also be more salon owner friendly. And dont forget the cooling. |

| Super Star Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Washington D.C. Posts: 828 | Here is the kicker... I am in an indoor mall setting that is unfortunately single phase, but I don't pay for the electricity. It is included in the rental payments along with HVAC,water, trash etc... I do like the Tanses look and it would fit into the room I have waiting for it (was supposed to house another Sungate) and it can be ducted out into the mall common areas through space at the top of the room (we have open ceilings with vents to the outside store into the hallways of the mall, works well when people use their lotions to perfume the hallways and people come in asking what the awesome smell is) Will this unit blow away the Sungate? I have not used any of their equipment so I have no benchmark for it. It (if my calculations are correct) has @ the same wattage as the Sungate. |

Go with the Sungate or Future Sun but don't add another Sungate if you already have one or The King would be a good Idea or even the Saturn HP stand up. Good Luck __________________ Feel The Burn!!!!! | |

Posts: 828 | I already have a Sungate, and I tried the Future Sun on a few occasions and thought it sucked, plus I am single phase and it only comes in 3 phase. I tried a Saturn at a salon close to here that was only a few months old and looked like HELL. Plus it looked like someone made it in their garage with the mirror panel held on by clips and radio and vents taken off of a '86 Cavalier.LOL! Not quite what I was looking for aesthetically. The King is next on my list to check out (I have to find one though, since no one from Sun Italia has called me back!) I do like the industrial look of the Tanses. Remember, I am under amperage restrictions that limit what I can pull in. |

With it's .03% glass and lamps a mile away from you, it will not even come close to a Magic 636 with Mug 6 glass in it. I do like the reflectors set up and easy lamp changes the Entropy has though. |
