Jim,

If you could please set these pics to post outright instead of links, thanks.
I used your server.

This unit was purchased second hand with 160 hours on the unit so the lamps are original that came with the unit.

We picked this unit up from Long Island and assembled it last week.

The settings on the transformer are 208 in and 380 out.
It is wired to a Square D QO 100 amp 3 pole breaker.
QO 3 pole are only available up to 100 amps and the breaker does not trip.
QO are plug in type. If you can get a 125 amp for your panel then use that size breaker.

RST are at 0.

All lamps set to max.

The unit has mostly mug 2 with mug 6 in the face area.

The new glass is ordered and after it is installed the settings can be toned down (and so can the heat).

There is an A/C unit that stands at the foot end and is ducted to the bed for the body fans in the center.

Readings are:

5.0 A+B 129.5 mw/cm²
6.0 B 1.05 mw/cm²
7.0 Med/Hr 6.5 J/cm² (My meter is cal. to 200J, not 156J)

1.05/129.5x100=.81%UVB

6.5x1.28=8.32
240/8.32=28.85min. Te. Time

This unit is by far the most versitale HP machine available today.

The finish is decent, The glass is pretty easy to disassemble to clean.

It will take two people to handle the bottom acrylic easily.

The wire lead lamps will chew some time to replace as does any wire lead unit and would be comparable in time to the Matrix relamp but the tanning power and results are by far the best of any HP to date. Form follows function and if your #1 concern is results then this unit is definitely worth a look.

I would like to see the control panel removable so you don't have to hang inside the unit to change settings as some of the settings can only be made while the unit is energized but these are pretty much set and forget type settings anyway.

This unit will accomodate all skin types right off the bat from the fair on low setting to the die hard tanorexics on ballistic setting.

If you are looking for HP for your salon definitely kick the tires on this unit before you buy anything and don't try all of the units you are looking for in the same week.

Leave some time between sessions to gain fair evaluation.

They are fun to assemble if you like that sort of thing. Kinda like putting a car together, only easier.

The room size is 8x10.

The A/C that is hooked up to the bed is about 3/4 ton. This is just for creature comfort, not cooling of the bed.

We are going to add a 3 ton ductless unit dedicated to this room for bed cooling. You will need at least 3 tons for this unit. If your system has surplus then you will be fine. This bed fills out the last available room so it is just easier to add the ductless for our purposes as the existing A/C handles the rest of the salon but will not accomodate this unit too.

It is connected to the internal body cooler fans. It was hooked up at the salon that we got the bed from so we grabbed it but it is not offered standard with the unit.

It is a stand alone unit that runs on 120 volts and has a 10" duct for exhaust (which goes into the ceiling) and a 5" duct for output to connect to the bed and a jug to catch condensation.

The transformer converts incoming voltage from 208 to 380 volts. It is very heavy. It is more economical to mount it by the panel so you dont have to run heavy wire to the room. #1 is used for the primary (panel to transformer)When you boost the voltage, the unit does not draw as much current so the wire coming out of the transformer is smaller. #4 is used for the secondary. (transformer to the bed)

3/4 ton? I hope you have enough when it get busy. Why so little?

In my set up I have each one in a 13x13 rooms with 8 foot walls and 12 foot ceilings. 3 tons of air dedicated to each room. Both exhausted outside of course.

Whoops, I re-read your post. That's better.
