Cool N'Joy

Does anyone have any comments on this bed? How's it tan? Is this a good bed for someone to get into HP?

I'm looking for an entry level HP bed that doesn't cost an arm and 2 legs.

this bed is quite new so I dont think that most owners have even tan on the unit.
Where do you live?

John from URI has one at their showroom

I will forward this onto him

For a small HP unit, this one gives some pretty decent color. It has 6 1530W lamps in the top & 5 630W lamps on the side.

Maximum session time is 15 min per side, from the handheld meters, they usually come in at about 11-12 minutes per side. It has a bit more UVB than the Sportarredo units of the past.

The amp draw is low & can fit into almost any room.

I thought this looked like a great unit.

The new HP equipment marketplace seems to be ripe for lower cost HP units that every salon owner can afford.

Cool

Thanks for the info. I don't know a lot about HP but yet...but I thought that this bed would be a good way to get into hp for the 1st time. The bed is less expensive than must other HP units.

Anyone know what the replacement lamps cost? How long has this bed been around? Does anyone have any maintenance history that they could share. The bed may be cheap but costs a lot to keep it running (service wise).

If you have anything else that you can share it would be appreciated.

Thanks again....

Do you have any HP beds in your area? I would think this bed would be great if you are introducing the 1st HP to the area, but maybe not so great if you already have salons with the bigger ones.

I am considering this for our first HP, but noone has HP here. Another reason I have been considering the N'joy is the electric required.

I too looked at the N'joy and for my area that is saturated in Future Suns and older Omegas it just wouldn't cut it.

I am flying to Columbus next wed to check out a HPO from Sportarredo. The reason is that I have limited amperage (room is already wired with high enough gauge wire for 80 amps, but connected to a 60 amp breaker, I'll just have the breaker switched out) and So far this is the only one I can find that is in single phase for an 80 amp breaker. It is going in a 9X9 room also that has double doors that swing in so most beds won't fit, waiting on Tantech to get back to me about the Sunsport Platinum to see what that runs on single phase, I may be able to squeeze that in also...

We have some other HP beds in the area. But i haven't been asked about it too much. The people are really cheap around me....They have money they just don't want to spend it. Would $20-25/session be acceptable for this bed?

About $1075.00 every 550-600 hrs.

The 15 minute per side tends to be tough, but like I said, most people are only going 11-12 max per side.

I know John sells these. But you can buy a used HP unit that out tanns that one for about 12k completely refurbished from Tan Tech. True the amp draw is low, but so is a 812 ub bed that is only about 8k used and in good condition.

The NJoy meters in the 100s with more uvb then the older Sunsports and UB units which in my mind satisfies many more skin types. The NJOY BRAND NEW is only in the $18K price range if I remember right. For the price I would not even consider a uses unit. Just my personal preference.

The meter readings were pretty IMPRESSIVE from this unit for the price range. HP with some pretty damn good output and some decent amount of B. Feel like it could be run at a 20-24 minute max. I was very impressed with the meter readings.

John, maybe you can repost those old meter readings so people can see what Im talking about. I also heard that this unit tans just as good if NOT BETTER then any other HP units out there. Not too shabby for the price. I feel it is the best HP value on the market.

Father Tan,
Ever test the HPO from Sportarredo? I am flying to Ohio next week to test one out. I don't hear too much about them on here. I like the look of this HP stand up better than the Matrix.

An 812 runs at a 23 min session, puts out 150 at the glass and because the lamps are closer to the skin, throws about 85 to 90 mills on the skin. Uv-b will be about 1.0-1.2 and most everyone can go full time.

2 812's or one n'joy. Hmmmmmm.

Njoy is to small and I don't think its been proven yet it will command the price you want for an HP bed.
