Default Signs of early DOOM.

True Story

Phoned a new place open maybe a week that has new HP. This is so classic, I had to post it.

Female Caller "Hi, I am going on a holiday in a few weeks and I have never tanned before, but I heard about this High Pressure thing, how does that work?"

Attendant (About 18 years old sounding, female) " Not sure, hold on, let me grab my paper"

About 40 seconds later

Attendant " Can't find it, but I think you only have to tan once a week "

Female Caller" Why is that? "

Attendant" I think it tans you right away, so If you did more, it would burn you"

Attendant" I think the bed has records in it or something"

I will let you figure out what she is trying to say.

Attendant " I just know the bed rocks!,"

Ok experts,

What would be your take on this places' chances?

What has obviously happened here that happens all the time?

Did she say it plays records? What? We have a lot of salon owners here tell them they have HP because of their facials...but wow.

I actually do phone checks on my own place.

The 'records' is most likely referring to the lamp cassettes. LOL

Attendant has to be older than 18 if she used the term "records" .They all have mp3 and cd devices now day's .But if it is "disks" she is looking at ,it would be verticle plug in lamps. Not "squares" .

Maybe she meant that she holds the record for dumbest salon employee.

OKay either

A) Owner got great new bed but forgot to explain to his employees how it "works"

B) Owner got great new bed, explained everything to said employee just after she smoked a big fattie

Or owner smoked a fattie and purchased a bed from one of the many HP company's that know NOTHING about training salon owners on how to sell and understand HP.

What is a "fattie"? What they call a Cuban cigar up there?

Its a new salon. Give the owners some time to tighten ship.

Steve a "fattie" is a reference to a nice sized joint of marijuana. You know,,, its what you always stayed away from while 99% of the population has tried it. It makes you laugh and puts you in a good mood.
But not to be expermented with by future engineers which is why you have stayed away from it. With it, Steve Mackin would have probably been a mechanic with a "fattie" for a wife.

Exactly right. It is an Acclaim by Heartland I believe.

There could have not been any training taking place right off the start. Install the bed, and walk out the door.

On another topic, in Canada:

-Fattie
-Bone
-Splif
-ripper
-gager

And that is just in cigarette form.

Hey - I tried it way back when. So I am among the 99th percentile.

First time I didn't inhale. Where did I hear that before?

Second time I did....... but the "reefer" didn't mix well with 5 beers. That was the last time I did it. Perhaps it's time to try again - now that I am "retired". Does it mix OK with All-Timers disease? ^_^

Thats the problem right there! I talked to the rep who sells the Acclaim in Canada and they have no idea how it works. When I asked them how much uvb the bed had they told me it didn't have any. I told them it had to have some to stimulate melonin production. Beyound that they could tell me absolutely nothing about the bed. They are clueless selling them.

It has no uv-b. It will burn you if you use it twice!

I think it has records in it. ? Funniest thing said by bimbo yet.

Owner of this salon shouldn't be given time to "tighten up" the ship....he should be made to WALK THE PLANK.

It is s.hitheads like this that cause the industry to get regulated. To ruin the perception of tanning in the publics mind.

How phuking hard is it for the bimbo to just say, Oh, Our new High Pressure bed is awesome. I know how great it tans , but I don't know any of the specifics on it yet. Can I have the owner call you back and tell you about it. It is definantly the best bed in Moosetown!

How freaking hard is that.????

Oh, and Jim, have your friends call your stores. That is what Alex and I do.
