I have a 2004 Matrix V28 and have done 4500 hrs with no problems. I did test the Saturn but found that it ran too hot , and did not have the quality finish and eye catching appeal of the v28, but obviously thats just my personal opinion.

The saturn does tan good, but its so freekin hot inside that some people can't handle it. There comes a point as to how much comfort are you willing to loose to get a tan?

it is not hot inside the Saturn (at least not mine) unless you have it in the wrong room with the not enough AC.

Mine is in a 10x12 room, 8 foot walls to 12 foot ceiling with 3 tons of AC dedicated to room. And the bed vented into the susupended cavity.

There are some "hot spots" when it is new, but I have never had a complaint about it being hot in the booth.

You are an exception to the rest of the tanning world. Your rooms are always bigger than required and you pump more AC than anyone else does.

The reason many people go with an HP stand up is room size, so natureboy your an exception. Most people are putting an Hp stand up in a room half that size!

if i had an HP standup, it would go in an 8x7 room. The bigger rooms are designated for big boy beds.

I have 1 room open, it's 10x12. Looking to add another HP 360. I wouldn't waste it on an HP standup. HP standups are good to occupy the smaller rooms when you pull out your base beds and want to fill a small space with something that will generate a lot more money.

Well, if you're going to do something. Do it right. I don't have 7 inch wide rear tires on my 600HP Chevelle either.

I agree, it doesn't run hot when you give it enough A/C. If you want to skimp then there are Boat Anchors® that are underpowered that will allow you to do so but if you want true performance then you need to provide the A/C, power, and ventilation that the unit requires and the customer will never complain about the bed, booth or the price you charge for it.

seeing is "doing it right is Minimum Room Dimensions: 6' x 7'6" double the room size is over kill, its putting tires on your car that are too big. just seems you could have enough rooms for 2 of those, or just put in another laydown HP thats all. In the recomended room size, this unit runs hot, so then perhaps the company needs to change their recomended room size.

No. Actually when I checked my Saturn is in a 8x10 room so it makes for a very nice room where the unit is in the corner and you have lots of room for changing and visual presence.

It's not overkill. It is done correctly.

If it was a 12x12 room like my Magic's are in then it may be a bit much. Plus I wanted the Saturn in that room in the event I ever want to put something else in there like a laydown I know it would fit.
