congrats on your choices.

I hold no allegiance to any mfr, and have installed many mfr's lamps in the past 8 years, AND paid the price for 'duds' and lowered performance output.

I do know what works, and my client's reactions to the installed products, and that's good enough for me.

I take these boards as info to other salon owners that might not have the guts to try something different and lean on others for some advice.

Last time you got into a bitch-fest with Teri F., you also insulted her because of her 'age'. Are you a misogynist? I generally enjoy your posts, but you do seem to have a really nasty streak.

Hey - I just saw mean Drew walking on the Red Carpet. Who let him in?

You gotta listen to infamous salon owners, including Sparky and David, who have run HP for many years, tried everything, know the meter readings, and the customer reactions to tanning results.

It takes all four ingredients to bake the pie.

Actually Brian there are hp lamps that putout more "B"...when the output is shifted. Which are not FDA compliant...
If the lamps are so great why don't they come standard in the bed? You would think you would want the best lamps, best glass, best reflector...best overall components in a bed...or is there too much money to be made in the backend? LMAO
Sparkey - when did lamps make igniters fail? I thought it was the other way around? Bad components = failed lamps...not that lamps don't fail but they certainly do not cause igniters to fail but hey...enlighten me.

Red carpet? come on...better make that a slip and slide.

About the Heraeus Lamps. Have Been using them in my Silver Bullets since i got them 4 years ago and no problems, and have been using them for 2 years in my Cayennes at my new salon. Changed the lamps once on the Silver Bullets to a different brand and was not happy with output and lamplife.
