And yes....i expect more out of a Mug6 glass. If hotspots were my only concern i would have added a fan at the foot of the bed. Al, all fans are fully opened and adjusted to the body. Hot spots are on the feet still. Yes, there are 600W lamps on this bed too. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. In fact an overheated lamp often puts out less UV than a properly cooled one. Run out to radio shack before they close and buy a digital thermometer. See which "bulbs" are pegging the thermometer and cool those ones better (if possible). Then they might read higher on a 5.0 meter too... | Super Star Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 806 | Brian...again you need to READ...I said the clear glass was closest to the client and if it broke the bed would continue to run because the sensors are only on the glass closest to the lamp... READ! W8- I know exactly what DIN is saying...others are trying to tell him to readjust his lamp output...when if fact that is not the problem. |

| VENDOR Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 387 | Din, Try this, take the fans in the middle section and adjust them to the legs. Let me know if that clears up your hot spots? Check your foam filters at the end of each column, take them out for a session. Lets see if that helps, for some reason it sounds like that end of the unit is not getting properly cooled. Al P.S- If this eliminates the hot spots by moving the mid section fans to the legs. But creates hot spots in the center. I would suggest whomever you bought the unit from, to sell you the Magic body fan that attaches at the end of the unit. That way you can crank the power back up. But first try removing the foam filters, clean them, and like I said. Run the unit w/ out them. |

| Smartass Canuck Moderator Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Canada Posts: 9,090 | I will try that......BUT....the legs meter higher and they are set 3 levels lower. i don't think that has anything to do with the fans. I've noticed when i clean the filters that the filters by the foot of the bed are all twice as dirty/lint/dust collected on them than the ones by the head. Would the fan for the Magic attach to the king and operate through the control panel like the vents do now? That'll be cool. I was gonna buy a separate fan with a remote. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. I'm sure there's a cassette map in your owners manual, or available here http://highpressuretanning.com/Manua...0Mar202005.pdf page 21 for lamp config. Yes, the foot fan works off bed power and is adjusted by the control pad. Last edited by sparky : 5th March 2007 at 12:24 PM. |

What will the fuse test do? __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. | VENDOR Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 387 | Din, Since your unit has the up grade tric board. It should be able to be wired for the extra fan. We never had to put one on a King, so iam not sure if the height of that acrylic will match. Sparky, can you measure your Magic from the floor to the acrylic? Please feel free to call Matthias about your foam filters getting dirtier at the one end. He's the expert tech, 574-534-7778. Al |

Tell me you just pulled out the glass and slid the new sheets into the cassette frame??? Takes a lot longer to actually remove and re-install the 4 retaining clips on each cassette frame, but............... P.S. turn the fuse to the lamp under the neck off, and use THAT glass to temporarily replace the broken sheet. You will need to slide one of the old italian glass into position to cover the sensor switch. but it did perform as needed when glass broke. or you can just run that one position with original glass, and turn the fuse back on.
