Well About the Saturn, I recomended my friend to tan in it because of being HP and she burned very easily. She still fried in this unit. she NEVER could go over 9 minutes. She was so frustrated, and here is the kicker, they never had the unit fully juced then! Now think of what a cooker it is fully juced!

I'd go for a tan in both these units before purchasing, see for YOURSELF how burnt you'll get as a skin type 2 and how NOT true HP they are. Don't just settle for salesman talk.

If this is true HP vs. roid VHR's why did you

I would however suggest contacting John from URI and looking into that baby matrix.
Are you saying the matrix is a true HP???

well, I think, if you can stomach the hotdog look of the leonardo , if you left in one 818 and then had this unit you will be okay, but if you pull both 818, you'll have some unhappily fried customers, and no more promoting going a full session or close to it, the first time to the fair skin people. Your customers who can handle this unit will be happy with the initial color, but unhappy with how fast it fades with the price they are paying to use it.

His Magic is not in that salon! only 818's in that salon! lol

I have to laugh. Here we are planning your salon for you Natureboy!! lol

Just do me a favor and veiw these units in person and tan in them first! lol and then go try the MasterSun in saskatoon! LOL

Perhaps things have changed with you lately, but over the years that I have chatted with you, you've always went for the lower UVB even in your LP units. That being said, I know I would not be happy with that much uvb in my HP unit. Infact when we first installed the Mastersun in our second salon i asked rob to tap it down to 220 on the transformer because i couldn't go the full 15 without burning a bit, and its just over 2meds of uvb, a bit higher than the Magic with mug 6. 1.8% uvb. Now if this leonardo is 4 meds, it kinda defeats the purpose of the idea behind true HP. And with the saturn, you had better place fans all around it between the columns or your customers will melt from the heat, and burn from the high uvb. not my idea of true HP

Valid points.... but how do you (or Nature Boy) know: ...

... without a 6.0 or 7.0 meter?? I thought you just had 5.0's. Am I wrong? Apparently so...

Is that you Rob? (just kidding).

550 + Saturn's on the Market, not many used one's to be found for sale. That must say something...
Please try the Leonardo yourself before knocking it. It has also been turned down, the lamps over the body are now 600 watt lamps, and 800 watts over the face. I recommend the New 2008 Saturn's not to be ran over 235 volts.

take a Prozac, and go test the UVA/UVB for yourself. Then come back and do your sales pitch for the Master Sun. Good find on the Saturn, almost one year old post. If he still has it, Patryk has a customer that is looking for used ones.

Yes you can run the Leo at 240 volt. It is a true 240 volt ballast, so it won't be over driven.
