Electric Lift, 30 lamps, all vertical lamps. This is actually the same new design of the newest Saturn that will be released this summer for the 2008 model. No other changes for the Saturn, just cosmetic.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAGIC 636 AND LEONARDO besides wire leads vs. plug in lamps and 5 columns versus 6 columns?
Do you have meter readings?

I won't get mine in until maybe next week, it is here in the warehouse, just need to find sometime to install. The readings should be similiar to the Saturn, same glass, same brand lamp. The advantage that the Magic has over any bed is the extended lamp life. This unit will retail at 34,900.00. Scott has put this in his salon in Detroit area, and I will put one in mine. We will run these two hard for about two months, and make sure that everything is running smooth first before we bring over the next batch. Between him, and I we will suggest any changes if needed.

Thanks,
Al

It doesn't appear to have Mug 6 in it. Will you try it in the prototypes?

What is the lamp wattage? Since it uses the parabolic setup is it a high B cooker?

I like the fan on it. Should make for a nice cool session. The machined look is killer. Nice job.

This unit uses the exact same glass as the Saturn. It is a MUG 2 that we have always used.
There are 18 lamps on top, 15 over the body is 500 watt, and the 3 over the face is 800 watt.
The bottom two columns uses 12 x 800 watt lamps. The lamps are stronger on the bottom because of the thickness of the acrylic. We will do some testing tomorrow and as I gather more information,. I will post

Maybe it means your avetar cut off your right eye.

Is there a patch over it?

Hey Al... I'm in the Detroit area if the owner wants some free meter readings. It's 80 degrees here today though - and tank tops are walking all over... so I might get distracted. Wait until a normal 55° returns.

Leave the gay guy alone.

The Leo will not use Mug 6......it will have Saturn Glass with more B.

From what I understand, the LEO will be the flat out strongest bed made....and the test will be how hot it gets..not does it tan you.

Expect meter readings on the glass of 300-400 and on the body around 150 or 175...any higher and you will have a 6 min session......

Can't wait for numbers...I may have numbers tonight.

it most definantly should...the glass lets more B thru....so more of the vhr steroid model......the magic is 12...so it will still be the better bed for people with no tan......but the Leo will be for darker skin types or people WITH a tan..or decent base tan.
