FIT,
Thanks so much. I truly appreciate those kind words, it is always nice to have a salon owner recognize and appreciate the work we do.

Kindest Regards,
Al

Silence is deafening...where are all the cheerleaders?

Now to the real people reading this thread.
If you know anything about me, know this...
I can not stand liars, cheats and thiefs...If I tell you Im going to do something, you can take that to the bank...because Im either going to do it or die trying. Im hardheaded, however I would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it...why? Because I was raised to believe in myself and to offer help anyone who needs it...because what YOU do has an effect on how YOU live.

There is a problem with my Magic. With some help from Brian, it is now starting to come together as to what that problem is. I have had this problem since install and no one would address it...they were only wanting me to pay for this mug 6 that they installed at the install...I refused to pay it until the bed was doing as it was suppose to do...I had some questions as to why the "Italian Old Glass" was not left for me...they couldn't answer that...they only told me that it wasnt worth a shit anyway...

Ok now that you understand that...I also used to buy clear glass and Mug 6 direct from Schott....sooooooooooo I have contacted Schott to find out somethings about this glass that was put into my bed...and you are not going to believe what we have uncovered...

The plot thickens...

Let me guess:

The installer sold the "real" MUG-6 to your competitor... then installed purple stained glass from Church Depot and clear window pane glass from Home Depot - right?

Just kidding.

The first time I met you was about 5-6 years ago in Chicago at the Excalibur. I was the one the accidentally hit you in the head with a glow stick. I think your hardheadedness scared all the cheerleaders way. You still have Steve and I listening. Get your facts in writing from Schott glass. They have been supplying tanning bed manufacturers with this glass before you or I got into this business. So if you were buying direct, you must have been purchasing from Germany? Here's a link from Scott on their MUG glass.

matthias installed my bed no problems I had to put my own mug 6 in so they did you a favor. I had to throw out my own trash from the bed common practice. so pay the 3 grand and get your bed fixed you probley lost that already. we all had expenses with putting in the magic that is just part of being a salon owner. I have done bussiness with patryck and he is very smart when it comes to high pressure and matthias is no dummy and Al your a class act to get in the middle to try and make this lady happy the bed does perform well when set up properly. paid for it self its first year.

I am here too. I asked questions and gave my simple opinions and got very little response. I can see what part of the problem is from your last post. You talk about being hard headed. That may work fine if the other person gives in, but if the other person is hard headed also, all you do is butt heads. As far as picking up the
packing after the install, I have had to do that almost every time I have had a bed installed.

I'm here too. I have been back and forth on the phone with Shari and narrowed it down to the glass. I want to see this machine work properly.

Brian

Do you think she wasn't given MUG 6? Or is the glass dirty?

Spill da beans, Shari.

Just remember... the glass (whatever kind) doesn't normally cause a low Model 5.0 reading - because UVA generally transmits through pretty good. It can, however, restrict UVB and MED/hr on the 6.0 and 7.0 meters.

Loss of B and MED would be much more noticeable by customers (satisfaction) than would loss of UVA from 130 down to 110 or 100.

Low UVA would normally be a voltage or transformer or transformer phase issue (unless it's church stained glass). Loss of B and/or MED would normally be a glass issue.

Hank you are an interesting fellow...and if you think it is common place to remove crates from an install then you haven't purchased from a company that values your business...It is NOT common practice from my suppliers anyway to have to remove crates from installs. You also seem to think that the bed problems are going to mysteriously go away if I pay the money I am withholding until the bed is performing as it should...In the business world the equipment will perform prior to release of final funds...that's pretty common practice too.

I have nothing to add to this except for garbage duty. I have bought from over 7 bed manufactures YES YOU REMOVE THE CRATES AND GARBAGE THAT IS A FACT. What do you think the installer sends out a garbage truck and removes your garbage? On a large install you should have a container on the location for your garbage.

I will now label myself as an instresting fellow also.
