Default Solfire HP

Has anyone heard or seen this bed.

I got his litte coupon book thing in the mail called salon one. Never heard of it before. I was bored so I thumbed through it and I came across this bed. Says its 36 650W with an 8 minute session. Price was $25K which is cheap for a 360.

Just wondering if anyone has seen it

Buy it, let us know how it is.

HP hasn't been done right in the US ever.
The Italians know best when it comes to HP.

It's actually a good looking concept. I am sure it is cheap as the rest of their line up is.

Not interested in the unit, just never heard, saw, read anything on it, let alone the comany. Was just wondering if anyone had seen it before or even tanned on it for that matter.

At $25K it is MORE expensive than the magic?

36X 650W for 25

OR, 36 X 1000W for $36K?

I may be wrong.... But I "Think" magic is 36KW?

who cares about Kw's????

A 500 watt facial on an ergoline running at 240 volts will put out 135 mw2 at the skin. (with a rather high B rate compared to true HP with 2 sheets of glass)

My 2000 watt facial on the Chronos will put out 130 mw2 at the skin also, with 1/3 the uv-b of the single sheet MIRROR Glass facials on many new beds)

lamps, reflectors, voltage, design, and glass make the system.

New HP need to give us all the A, keep the B down to 2meds or less per session, keep the heat down....and do it all while pulling 60 amps 3 phase or LESS.

The days of 100 amp draw beds is coming to a close. The extra dollar per session in expenses....or extra 2 thousand dollars a month in expenses per month if you exceed your demand rate isn't worth it.

Lower amp draw, higher performance beds are very do able.

25 600 watt plug in's , 3 rows on top, 2 on the bottom.. with Saturns blue and thick clear glass mix, and parablolic reflectors and an 12" distance to skin....can give
you over 100 mw2 readings, with less than 18kw's. (apx 50 amps)

Sounds like the Leonardo with slightly lower output lamps doesn't it?

Drew is right on.

Wattage means nothing with HP any more.

I'd be concerned with build quality. Their regular beds looked pretty shoddy. The design is nice to look at though.

My 500W facials on my VHR beds put out over 130 on the 5.0 meter at the skin. They are insane. Love those facials...

Old fashioned 400W facials are way less than 130. Maybe 70 ish. Inefficient bulbs, reflectors, and glass.

old 400 watters in a double mount cassette will put out 150-170 AT THE GLASS...but just 50 at the face on a big bed even when 8 or 12 lamps are up there.. Put the lamp half the distance closer and you can get your hundred mills just fine. Low wattage hp lamps wont throw the light very far.

The higher the watage, the farther the "throw" of the light....
That same 150 at the glass in a 1k wire lead lamp will hit 85-100 at the face, and a 2k will hit 130 or more.

Untill Parabolic CONES made even lower wattage lamps throw light even farther....take out a piece of glass and up it goes again.

Get rid of all the glass and oh boy does it tan.

When are they gonna make parabolic cone reflectors to put in our King's and Magic's as an upgrade? I'll buy that for a $1.00.!!!

Shane, I ordered one of them (Black) and had to send it back because of a financing issue. I LOVE IT....I love the look of it. I have alot of Soleil beds and really wanted this as a level 3. The price seems right. I've wanted that bed for a long time.

Also, I know several salon owners with Soleil beds and we have discussed our beds extensively and none of us have had any problems with the beds and the Customer Service has been good too. no complaints.
