Sparky, having the colums in differnt order won't change how adjustability works, it will just change a few of the lamp numbers.

As far as the columns having differnt intensities. With my model we can simply plug the cables into differnt spots. It is my understanding that this can't be done on some models because different lamps are used. This will mess up the adjustability to the point that the lamps will be in different order, but that is not a big problem.

Patryk has a new board coming to me tomorrow hopefully. I'm praying that this will solve the problem.

An invoice for mug 6 is ready to go as soon as I know the bed is operating properly.

Mike
I hope it works for you. I put in two new boards, a chip and switched the plugs and the column is still hotter. I have never solved the problem other than using older lamps in that column.

natureboy, the problem i'm most concerned with fixing is my facial lamps. I can live with the column being hotter, hopefully the mug 6 helps a bit. At this rate every board will be new in the unit.

facials are barely turning on, when they are on they flicker.

So much for the plug & play.
I can't imagine a salon owner having to do all this.

Seems to me that you shouldnt have to fix / adjust so many things on a New or used bed that most of you claim is the best High Pressure on the market. If it was so exceptional you wouldnt have to have so many adjusments or be paying extra to upgrade glass etc.

Just my opinion

well the new model does come with the upgraded glass.

The problem i'm having may have been evident when the old owner had the bed but maybe he didn't meter each lamp individually, or something happened in the process of moving the unit to me.

Plug and play was never in this units manual, once its running properly, the adjustments are easy and will save an owner lots of money.

Both interesting observations. But the longer I read this stuff... the more I'm starting to lean toward:

It DOES sound TOO complicated for many folks. Unless of course yo are a wizzard, like Sparky, Brian, or Harry Potter.

Well, we made some progress today. More boards are on the way. Possibly a bad triac board, but I'll be receiving a new main board just in case.

I got the hot column to be the top one now, it made the session much more enjoyable. I had to flip once throughout a 12 min session. Hopefully the mug glass will smooth it out more.

By the way, its really not all that complicated. Although I have a lot of technical experience. I'm doing a lot of the work myself because its quicker for me to do so.

uhmmmm......isn't the Magic a 360? Why would you be flipping? Are you trying on purpose to crack or break acrylics?

I hope you aren't advising your customers to do this on a $40,000 bed...

new main board and triac board are on the way. Bed is usable right now, facials are only outputting about 90.

I did something i never thought I'd do, i put a sticker on my body, I can definately see results and its only metering about 120 right now. I think setting all lamps to level 2 will do the trick.

it's metering 120 on level 1 / 2 and you find that's a problem?
