Are you by pittsburgh? I"m about 3 hours away. We'll meet halfway at the casino at the Falls and have a few.

I was up there in october, i must say its a nice casino, but i almost got myself in some trouble. I took 100 to gamble with, lost it, decided to take a cash advance on a credit card, sat down at a black jack table and ended up breaking even.

The wolf gang puck restaurant is over rated

I'm actually 25 mins north of pittsburgh

Alrighty, I think the light tape will be a failure

I had two strips lit and then I went to hook the 3rd up and turn it on and one that was lit was dead. Anyways, they just don't put out enough light. I think this was abig waste of money.

I'm going to look into the LED idea, that will only run a few bucks.

Well, I'm back at it again. This time it's not soo much about adding features to the bed. It's about hiding the damage I caused. I put a nice big dent in the top front column when the eurowalls came toppling over during a remodel. I have a plan to fix this that should also work at adding accent lighting. pictures will come when kathe sends them to me, her picture should show the dent.

My g/fs father is the metal shop instructror at the local HS. I plan on having him make a hood out of stainless steel, it will attache onto the front of the claw and over hang slightly on the column. I'd like to have him cut out Magic into the front so I can do a backlight look almost like the new ones have. Since this will be overhangnig, I'll be able to hid a neon or LED light bar to focus light onto the bed itself.

This I'm going to try and make some cardboard templates today for him to get started. If this turns out nicely, I might have him make a few of them up for anyone that would want to cover the costs.

wouldn't the weight wear out the canopy lift motor faster? Would the motor even be able to handle the added weight?

this wouldn't be adding much weight at all. I'll probably use aluminum as I wasn't thinking about the weight issue. I highly doubt that motor is being stressed to it's capacity

Mike, di dyou ever get this piece made? I now know what you guys are talking about. I have two show off rooms one with a KBL 6800, that people say looks like the back end of a classic car. The other is my magic, I through up some track lighting, and put in a couple of blue CFL's (worried about drawing to much it also lights my lotion display) it has helped alot, but I want more.

I was thinking leopard skin or tiger skin but that may be a bit much, (old cheech and chong)
