| Hall of Famer | What is the ideal 5.0 reading with mug installed. Does anyone keep the old glass over the facials?. I think the reading was mentioned somewhere, I just couldn't find it quickly. I tanned in the machine already, and it's a big difference in comfort. It's still toasty, but I definately see more color afterwards. Heat is distributed nicely though |

| Hall of Famer | I didn't mess with any settings on the bed after installing the glass, I expected to see a drop in the 5.0 readings. Patryk made it sound that less UVA reaches the body and more UVB. He made it sound like a trade off. I'm getting 127 near the center |

| Hall of Famer | This is just a thought, but since i'm on the low side of my voltage. 379-381. Couldn't I tap the transformer to 400 to get a little extra life out of the lamps? operating voltage is 380-400. most lamps are on level 2. some are on 5. this was to eliminate the hot column. I'll have to swap lamps from one column to the other eventually to even wear out. I may not get the max life out of the lamps, but the bed is metering even. |

Instead of bumping up to level 9 (which doesn't exist) or changing the lamps......tap into 400 as the last level to reach full potential of the lamps. Then change them and drop it back down in voltage. You'll get another 100-150hours out of the lamps. but no need to do it from the beginning...cuz you can adjust the lamps individually. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. Why don't we just take the safety labels off everything and see what happens? |

(you shouldn't do it on those transformers either) You may squeeze a little more out of the lamps but you just beat up the rest of the components in the bed. The RST settings are to balance out feed between each phase. Allows the triac to operate without flicker (as much as possible) and maximum adjustability. 127 is fine. That's definitely tannin'. |

| Hall of Famer | well, I'm not sure if mine is tannin either, lol. Although I may have hit my peak with regular lotions. We are seeing excellent color right out of the bed with a sticker on, then by the end of the night that color is gone. Haven't gave it enough days to let the color come out as everyone says will happen. |
