| Hall of Famer | I have a girl that has been using a matress HP, she doesn't think the Magic is getting her as dark, which after reading other comments I can agree with her. Not enough B, She won't go into a High B unit either. ![]() |

Next client comes out of a mattress and bitches they will never use the 360 because it sucks. You just need to keep your Magic clean, well ventilated and at the right setting. You will build a tremendous clientle for it.I would recommend BANNING yourself and your staff from tanning on any other unit in the salon.Do 3-4 sessions in 10-12 days .Use a good lotion and a professional tan extender and then everybody tans 3-4 sessions a month,go 4 a month.Your confidence and that of your staff will soar. Then the next time someone comes in with that kind of statement you won't need to get paranoid. |

Probably 12-15 minutes... which is strong for an HP. Old UB818 mattress beds were low B and took like 45 minutes to 4 MEDs... way longer than people ever used them for (per side). No idea what kind of modern mattress bed gives more B than a magic... perhaps there are some. But generally skin type 3-4 with lots of base tan don't see much instant gratification from any HP bed. They prefer VHR®/VHOR with 6-7% UVB (or more) to "get something" quick. |

In my experience, The UB818 holds in way more heat than my mastersun, so you imediatly look redder, and if you have a dark tan already, it will apear darker, but The mastersun has more B and the color after a day up to 3 days later is way better. The mastersun has a wicked cooling system and airflow whereas the UB818 is lacking and is an enclosed heat box. I would presume much would be the same for the Magic. There are other factors also involved. She may be maxed out in her tan and therefore can't get any darker, but when she was using the other HP unit she was still building her tan. Also if she goes too often, your color will actualy start to fade from overexposer, damaged melanocites don't produce melanin. Perhaps suggest to her to take a few weeks off ( as she only needs 2-3 sessions per month maintenance on Hp), then get her tanning in your unit, then she will notice a huge difference. Now, if she's using a N'joy matress unit, then that is the problem, it has a bit more B than the Magic and that is what someone dark skin will asociate with more tanned. |

HAHAHAHA....now is that your way of saying the N'Joy is better than the Magic? ![]() __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. Why don't we just take the safety labels off everything and see what happens?

The Njoy will meter 110 & has more UVB, it is really impressive for such a small unit. And there is no need to adjust anything on it. __________________

NO MORE UVB is needed...matter of fact if you know how to get the reflector, lamp and glass config right...the better beds are always lower uvb and a ton of uva...BETTER TANNING! Getting someone red or having too much UVB is not what most hp users are looking for... when you have high b beds in hp you take away my selling point thus taking away my sell...high b does NOT MAKE A BETTER HP BED>.................PERIOD! |

I had a client say my Magic tanned him darker last year then this year which is impossible because I added Mug 6 this year, so the B and total output is better? How does that make sense? Probably because he tried it first time ever last year, turned darked then ever before and faster in his life and now the WOW factor is over. It is like sex, pot, booze, just about anything is best the first time. After that, you are chasing that original high.
