It allows a little bit more UVB through to give more OOMPF to their tan. That's it, in a nutshell. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. There are many different combinations & results that can be achieved. Blue Glass Types from Schott M - UG 6 The special filter glass M-UG 6 is a dark violet tinted silicate glass. Its main feature is a very high UV-B transmittance and an excellent absorption in the visible and IR region. ⇒ M - UG 2 The special filter glass M-UG 2 is a deep dark violet tinted silicate glass. Its main feature is a defined UV transmittance and an very excellent absorption in the visible and IR region. ⇒ UVISOL® 95 The special filter glass Uvisol 95 is a blue violet tinted silicate glass. Its main feature is a defined high transmittance in the UV-A range and a very low transmittance in the UV-B range. ⇒ Clear filter glasses Transparent filter glasses with defined edge wavelength and extremely narrow edge wavelength tolerances They offer 6 types of Clear filters also, making up 18 possible combinations. Blue filters can be used without a clear filter, however they are very intense. __________________ |

Whatever version Bruce piled up behind his "Tornado" were blocking almost all the B. I bet the old UB 818 used Uvisol 95 mixed with Type 320 Clear to yield 0.4% UVB. __________________ ![]() ......................Flashback 2001........................
