THE STAFF ONLY Any salon with a good bed not being popular is because the staff doesn't push it. The novelty of a better tan doesn't ever wear off. |

The CAGE is the inside...but even with acrylics....it is not anywhere like the experience of a stand up hp unit. (excluding hollywood tans junk and old tansees boxes.) |

| All Star Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: the dirty dirty Posts: 244 | It's a ProSun Delta 180 standup...does that explain why?! No really though, when I naively bought the machine it was only a 10 minute session with extra long combi lamps. I charged $16 for walk-in then. Everyone tried the standup but went back to my small 15 min VHR beds for a less expensive price and an at least equivalent tan. It wasn't enough time nor enough power for extra long lamps. Since then the standup has been re-rated for 12 minutes and I switched to to Cosmolux VHRTT 71 lamps. Tans much better now. So, yes, I could probably bump up my walkin and session price for the standup. Thanks. |

Recently I saw the Matrix L18ER and it makes me think twice about the Njoy. It looks awesome, 360 degrees, and would fit my size and electrical requirements (3 phase 50AMP) So here's my pluses and minuses, NJOY Mattress + Great Price. Around $12000 + True HP. Adapts to all skin types + I got good color from it + Comfortable - Longer 20-30 min session - Semi ugly green color - People will have to flip over Njoy Mix + Shorter session time than mattress (15min) + Keeps UVB instant red people happy + Good price, a bit more than the mattress - People will still have to flip over (they say you don't, but you do!) - Semi ugly green color - Can't advertise as true HP Matrix L18ER + 360 degree HP + Absolutely beautiful + Could get more $$ per session + Would be the best HP bed in town - Double in price from Njoy. It's around $25+ Keep in mind I have a very limited if not absent HP market around me. There's one 360 unit about 5 miles away at a tiny, non-prominent salon. Maybe I should just get the Mattress to enter the HP market and see what the response is. I can always get a bigger unit later. I'm done rambling... It is a way to rationalize harmful behaviour. Its what smokers say too. Why are the 10 and 12 min beds WAY more popular now than a 30 min bed. Answer that smart muffin. And for the Pro Sun girl. VHRTT are still krap. If they make them...put in just 10 Sig HP lamps in the top...or 10 Supra Filtered Sunlights... Vhr TT are NOT ALL THAT! even a Sig Plus is better but try the two I mentioned. |

One just went into western Canada and is doing great along mattress HP beds at 22-25$ a session.3 more are going in soon.I will keep you posted. You are not standing while using this unit ...you are suspended...caught in a tractor beam, you don't need your legs...you are in the transporter on the Starship Enterprise.Mine is 5 minutes from the airport in T.O. mention this post for a half price tan on mine. |

| VENDOR Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 387 | Most of the salon's we sell to. The owners use to say the same thing about standing. All they need to do is sell the first one to a customer, and let them "Experience" it for themselves. I tell my sales staff to use the word Experience, it works. It's not just a tan, It's an Experience..... Al |

Don't get too hung up on the whole "well it's not true HP" bull$h!t. Get the mix and make more money with that room. 15 min. with the N'joy mix will bring in more money then a 15 min. base bed. Let's see, 8 bucks for a base tan in 15 min. or 30 bucks for an HP tan in 15 min. Where's the confusion? This apparently fits your budget, power, and space reqirements to squeeze out as much revenue from your situation. |

| All Star Join Date: May 2005 Location: California Posts: 82 | I've had 3 salons and all three had the Matrix V28 (verticle HP) and it's always been the most used in all salons. One salon had the V28 as well as the L33 (Matrix 360 HP) and it was close but V28 was still most popular. The other salon had the L58 (Matrix LP laydown) as well as the V28 and the the V28 had double the useage of the L58. My current salon has the V28, UWE S-Class, and a UWE Sunboard (HP). The SunBoard and S Class combined do about as many sessions combined as the V28 does on it's own. Pricing is not the issue as all sessions are priced the same in all equipment. |

| Super Star Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: PA Posts: 702 | Question, I think you MUST turn over in the NJOY combo because of the position of the lamps on top, correct, only one row of lights, none on the back side of unit?? Otherwise only one side of your body would tan. I spoke with the rep about this and this is why we did not get this unit. Yes, tan on back with VHR but still you must turn.. |

You can flip to the other end of the bed too instead of laying face down. | |
