Default Magic adjustability

Okay, so it's that time to adjust the magic. Not many of my banks match the drawings. Lamp 5 is not on the canopy but rather it is on the base. I don't know how many others are out of wack, but I'm frustrated right now. the large column plugs are in the correct sockets. The triac connections on the boards seem to all match up.

I thought everything was okay, it runs fine, thats all that matters i guess

Mike, who installed your bed? Could some of your earlier problems be caused by the pods being installed in the wrong position?

when you say pods, are you referring to columns?

I thought there is only one way because of cord length.

Same thing. I don't know if they can be put in the wrong place.
I have helped put the 2 that I own together. I know that when the bed comes new, that the columns come numbered.
Have you checked the lamps to see the watts of the lamps to see if the right lamps are in the top and bottom?
I don't know what year your bed is but the top lamps are a different wattage than the bottom lamps on mine.

I have a 2003, all lamps are equal. Does anyone know if this can be updated to have lower wattage lamps in certain spots?

The end of the plugs are lettered as are the ballast drawers.

You could upgrade the bottom center column with a 400 watt lamp and ballast.

The lamps adjust in pairs.

Sure. I think you would need to change the reflectors though since the lamp is longer.

You just need to map your bed out.Adjust lamp ,say 13 and see wich ones actually adjust.Continue with all of the lamps and map them as you go.This happened on some of the earlier beds as well as the adjustable kings. Not hard to do at all.Don't worry about upgrading to stronger facials.Just learn to sell what you have.

I really don't want to upgrade, but the lower wattage lamps would/should make for a much more comfortable experience.

Mapping this thing out is going to be a PITA. some lamps measure off the meter even at level 1 due to my hot columns.
