Find me and I'll take you to a salon in Nashville to try it out. So you can see for yourself. I'll be at the booth and ask for Rob. |

| All Star | I'd go with the Leonardo too. I'm partial because I work with Miracle Sun, but I do have a Saturn in my salon. The Leo is a lay down version of the Saturn; and it seems like a better fit for an upgrade bed, IMHO. (I'm comparing to the 2004-2007 Magic). I havent tried, or even seen, the NEW Magic. But the vertical lamps, with parabolic reflectors, will put out almost double the output of a conventional horizontal high pressure lamp. The Magic always seemed like a pain to maintain and keep clean. It also has had a lot of problems with underperformance on the facials, and problems with circuit boards. Miracle Sun's line NORMALLY is "Set it and Forget it". I do almost 100% of the technical support for the Saturn... and I very seldom receive calls (unless the salon owner tried to save a buck and installed it themselves). The part I like most is that you can relamp in less than 20 minutes, and clean all filter glasses in less than 30 minutes. I don't think its the BEST looking unit on the market, ( I actually like the MasterSun's looks the best). |

What else is in your salon? If they have the Magic - you want to go with 360 also. Other than that, your choices are fairly wide open. I'd consider the Ergoline 1050, Sport. Mastersun, Magic, Iso Italia Matrix and Tan America Solarix. Probably the Leonardo too -- don't know anything about it. If you want to save 10-15K, I'd buy one of the Matrix 360's Highline repo'd. 1200 hours on the bed, customers will never know new vs. used and you lop 25-35% off the price of new. Just depends what your situation is.

All HP is a pain in the a$$! It doesn't matter who makes it. It is expensive to run, maintain, and purchase. It is nothing like a VHR bed. It will cost alot to relamp and will need constant attention to keep running at peak performance. If you cannot do these things yourself, you will be paying someone to do it for you. This is why you cannot whore it out for 15 dollar sessions.

Other than cleaning and relamping my Tanses THP-24 I have'nt had to touch it in 3 years. Not to mention it only takes 30 minutes to clean and relamp. If you want a High Pressure bed that will out preform the magic go with the Entropy 360 - 10 min. sess. 46 - 1000 watt lamps with a single metalic filter and parabolic glass reflectors give the output of a 2500 watt lamp. Keep in mind if you want the best you have to pay for the best and it isn't cheap. If you wanna save a couple of bucks you can go with its little brother the Convex. If you upgrade from the alluminum parabolic reflectors to the Glass and run it at the propper voltage it will get you pretty close to the output of the Entropy but at a smaller price tag. Just my 2 cents! Good Luck |
