| Hall of Famer | No....Steve night remember more than I, but with the 500w steup we metered ( he never had his meters the second time he came, and I only have a 5.0 and 7.0) and I think Steve was saying the 6.0 showed around 2.5.... Whatever it was, it was double the sunsport platinum with supras and mug-6 |

When I had the original glass years ago I used to run them at 12, but since mug 6 I took off a minute. I went from original glass to 1.0 glass to mug 6. Everytime I upgraded or increased UVB, clients became more happy. This is why the B part of the leo doesn't concern me too much. So I start ghost whity's here out at 6 or 7 mins instead of 8 or 9 like a Magic with mug 6. |

The glass should be solarized in 10-20 hours of use. |

Brian, it does have 50Hz ballasts as opposed to our 60hz Then again...so does the sunsport and the king. No problems there...5 years on the platinum and 2.5 years on the king. Only thing I notice and I think the magic is the same way, the time on the display does not match the tmax....people think they are in for 19 min. 38 sec. when the tmax stops at 20min.

| Hall of Famer | On another note. I did 28 leonardo sessions yesterday, and 9 so far in the first 3.5 hours today. The friggin columns are HOT!!!! The vent on the columns is only on one side. Not enough... The magic has openings on both ends... I'm not talking about the session...just the column if you touch in compared to the cool column of the magic after having done the same amount of sessions. Al....keep this in mind for future ref. |

| VENDOR Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 387 | It's not difficult. Just hard to satisfy each and every salon. If you have to many different options, you could get stuck with inventory. I'm one of the few tanning bed importers that comes online, and will pass along any advice you may have to the Manufacturer. |

Al. Since you mentioned, here are my thoughts. The bed looks impressive and tans like a (insert your own swear word here) . Having run it through about 50 - 75 customers, and tan it it myself, here's my feedback for you Al. 1. THE MANUAL SHOULD BE WRITTEN BETTER. It's not user friendly, and the wires inside the unit are not properly labeled. 2. PLEASE PUT AN AUTOMATIC DOWN button like the magic, king, platinum etc. I hate having to hold the down arrow especially since the top comes down so slow. 3. The display is not in a very good position. Fat people like Din have a problem reaching over at shoulder height to adjust the radio, fan etc. 4. The fan rattles at levels 6 and 7. they should spend more time making it suit a luxury bed like this... Mercedes don't rattle. 5. The radio does not display what station it's on. 6. The curve on the acrylic should extend a bit lower. My 4 foot 9 stripper Venus, scratched her bum bum while trying to climb in.

| Hall of Famer | if it has a radio, there should be aux inputs to by pass it "there may be, I'm just saying", and let the thing remember what input it was on! That's a major PITA with the magic, I dont' have radio so I have my overhead fed through the cd input, turn the bed on in the morning to loud static. With these units, buttons can be placed in much better positions, such as on the pillars right overhead the person. Only buttons that should be off to the side are the canopy down and maybe an emergency stop button. Al, where's all the updates for the old magics I want the hinged acrylc with frosted glass and extra sheet for airflow |

You can be assured that the importers and even the manufactures read these sites! |

| Hall of Famer | I've been through some product design phases and worked with Pro E for design work. It's easy to forget about what works best for the end user when you have to focus on making the product work. Take my prosun beds, which i like a lot, thank you very much. The new models have a handle that is not functional for the person laying inside the bed. The groove is at the wrong angle. Makes me scratch my head. The MP3 cable is right behind the head when it should maybe come out in the center of the back of the unit. LCD is too far up the head end of the bed and just makes buttons hard to push. The old magics, putting the control panel in the center was a real head scratcher, not only is it hard to see the LCD, but the E-stop has been bumped too many times to count. And the voice instructions for the magic, my god, I jump when I hear her. You know it's going to be one hell of a session when you hear that voice for the first time. |
