Congradulations Tammy on a shitload of posts on a thread that has nothing to do with the magic...

Screw adjustability. I want to know who has a mastersun in my area so I can go try it before I post my opinions on it. By reading your posts you make me feel that a unit like the mastersun that needs so much effort on your pard defending it and trying to prove how much better than the magic it is, I would take a serious look at a MAGIC just to see what the threat is all about.

Now. The Leonardo is not a Magic. If I wanted a more traditional Hp I would have not bought a Leonardo. I want to switch my pujabi like customers to "hp" style beds and the matrix or leonardo from what I have seen would do that. But as far as the magic goes, I had a SS platinum for 5 years now, and that is a magic without the bottom 3 columns and the acrylic. Based on that, I can talk to you about how the Magic performs.

NEVER did I have a problem with the sunsport

NEVER did I get confused with the adjustments of the bed to meke it not perform 110%

ONLY UPGRADE ever done was to the mug 6

Quote:
and look at the $$$ you spend to retrofit these parts?
How much do 15 pieces of Mug-6 cost? I made up the dif. on me getting 1200hours on a set of lamps.....that throws your theory of
Quote:
kinda undoes the $$ you make on longer lamp life,
out the window.

Quote:
and look at the problems with all those things it has, that has nothing to do with adjustability
5 years and 0 (ZERO) problems.

on another note. I am not employed by Patrick or Al or anyone else who sells magics, lennys saturns etc. Just my honnest opinion.

I am not comparing the above units to the ones you sell, simply because I have NOT tanned in a mastersun. I live in a city of only 6,000,000 people and there are only about 600 tanning salons here/ I don't know anyone who has a mastersun to go try. since you are affiliated with sportarredo cand you help me find one? I'm curious.

Oh....and before I forget.

THIS IS NOT A MAGIC THREAD. It's a LEONARDO THREAD.

Thank you.

Everyone Stop going off topic! This thread is about the Leonardo.

If i wanted to talk about the Mastersun, i would have started a thread about the salon owners that have it and have told me personally when i asked them how they like it and their response was..."Ehhhh....it's okay. but i'll probably get a Matrix next time".

Thank you and back on topic.

I like the unit has gone from 1000-1200 hours now when it serves argument purposes they claim 12-1400 hours hahahaha, and no one will post UVB readings at that many hours. lol

steve, uv2101, I have a salon in a major city also. keep up.

let me ask you all, doesn't all topics lead into another? it started when one is claiming they are the only importer participating on here. then you all claim bull shit crap when I blaintenly point out to you why they must participate on here so much. damage control and the others don't need to damage control, so you all led this topic in this direction.

w8inline, you'll have to go to saskatoon. there is one in toronto, but im not sure where and the guy has lost a few salons(nothing to do with this unit, just his business practice) so not even sure if its still there and running or if it was one of his many units repo'd. Bahama Mama's was his salon name. Or you could come visit me!

Because of the adjustability on the King and SS Platinum...When i changed lamps last, it was at 1242hours and it wasn't at 30% drop from new. I changed it because we were running a FTW anniversary special and wanted them changed BEFORE we got flooded...to give top results and sell more packages. So instead of doing it the following 2-3 weeks later, i changed it then.

So i can see it being 1200-1400 hours without a doubt!!! (just to clarify of course)

But like i said before. This is a Leonardo thread. Back on topic!!! EVERYONE.

The fact that the Leonardo is NOT adjustable is another downfall. AL....see if they can make the lamps adjustable (for salon owners) who cares about the customers adjustability...Like James said. It's about getting maximum performance and output and hours out of the lamps.

if they made the Leonardo adjustable like the Magic/King/SS Platinum....it would be a killer buy for all salon owners!

Send us off a Retrofit kit once they do change it.

I find it interesting that you all happily lead it off topic until something is pointed out or you can't answer something, then you all just say its off topic. lol

Go bump up Shari Jones' or Elite Michael's Magic threads. Then you will be ON topic complaining about 636's.

Ouch-hot glass, wierd Italy transformers, leg taps adjustability, uneven banks, etc.... Enjoy.

The highest UV meter readings actually come from relatively newer lower wattage lamps with parabolic reflectors and vertical (or "axial") lamp mounts... kinda like fancy headlights on modern cars... but with mirror glass. Less IR heat and more UV. So don't say higher UV meter readings necessarily mean hot (heat) feelings on one's ass or legs.

For 1200W tin can reflector horizontal mount vs 800W tin can horizontal - YES - more heat.

I'm done complaining about my magic, I'm just focusing on making money with it.

I bought a USED ONE, not new, maybe new ones don't have issues like I had.
