| Hall of Famer | For those of you with a mattress bed, are you ever concerned about the person NOT flipping? As I was tanning in the magic today, I was just thinking how relaxing a mat version would be. Not to mention some of my clients would love the long session. |

People who can handle more uvb can get even better tans by doing one FULL session on the front and one FULL session on the back. For lighter skin types..this is too much and the results don't equal just the normal flip over when you add up the tans. UB tried to put a fix on the problem with the GO button that needed to be pushed when you flipped over or the bed would shut off. Of course customers are too dim to remember this and constantly had the bed shut off and got mad. |

Nice UVA burn on the front for brand new tanners. Can you say Benadril? I have HUGE signs in the room that if they do not flip or forget or whatever that it is their responsibility. Too many said "I should get a free tan because I didn't hear the beeper" Nice scam. Too freakin bad. |

It is a HEAT RASH from getting sooo much heat on their fair skin. This is usually the case...torso can't take the heat and will get too much. But this type of pink and sensitivity differs from a uv-b burn. It will DECREASE as time goes on vs getting worse the next day like uv-b. Just tell the customer to avoid a hot shower and it should be gone in a day...and it won't peel or get worse like a "sunburn" will. Most will see this is the case. You would need to be under the lamps for aproximately 700 minutes to get a burn from the UV-A from 365 nm's. |
