Default 10 Min magic session

Well I finally got the magic doing what it does best. My clients love the new 10 min session time. I had to tan today after 3 other people did just to see how it held up heat wise. I have my RST tweaked for maximum adjustability. I'll have no prob putting a newbie in there as long as they know how to work the lamp adjustment. It's nice going from 130 down to near 100 on the 5.0 meter

I'm still waiting for the bench to calm down a bit. I'm thinking with more AC in the room it may happen. The dang thing meters over 100 right at the butt position, if i can get that down to 80 or so then the machine will be loved by all. Most people haven't complained, they want intense.

Mike, I run mine as close to 130 as I can get it but I have 3 tons of ac going into the bed and the room. I let it drop into the 115-120 range and pop it up to the next level. The ac makes all the difference in the world with the Magic.

hmm, I think we need more heads on this. My clients that tried it Monday claim they got the most color since I installed the bed. Keep in mind I'm puttin out 30 more mils on the body at 10 mins vs 12 now.

So Mike are you running it at 100 or 130?

After a bit when it gets dusty or you forget to adjust up the lamps consistantly as they age it will tend to run around 110 on the 5.0. I find this perfect and lets the lamps last much longer.

I personally run mine at 11 minutes (Magics) which for the last few years has worked well. A good tan time and still lets you run the bed 3 times an hour with enough clean/change time inbetween sessions.

Michael: WHO tweaked your RST to finally get the "magic" number up at 130 mW/cm˛? You? A Circuit City geek? Brian??

No Canadian girls allowed to post! Just kidding....

solar, I spent about 2 hours remapping my bed, whoever wired it has nothing matching up. lamp 1 adjusts 11, 5 adjusts 9. Things like that. Maybe in the offseason I'll fix that, I'm sure it's actually not a big task, just not worth it right now. My tan is a little darker than it should be.....

I left RST at maximum to please all my clients, yes they are allowed to use the lamp adjustment. I think the 10 min session is perfect, people have been saying its' the best color they've got from it ever.

This bed doesn't scare me, gotta basically disassemble my model to get to the battery. I have 9 other beds that don't need anything done to them, what fun is it if you have 10 like that.

I just can't wait to get the extra 2 tons AC in the room

Mike, you went up 30% on your output and only went down about 20% on your time, so you should get a better tan. They are getting more from the 10 minutes at 130 than 12 minutes at 100. Once you get the full complement of ac going, it will be even better for your customers.

Mike, keep in mind that HP lamps need extra time to "heat up" compared to LP systems... so with a 10 min. session your customers are actually seeing a 9 minute session.

She's not allowed to post on this thread... because once she reads the 130 number she will start going bonkers lol.

That is why I think 11 minutes is perfect. I used to run 12 minute with original glass, then went to 10 with Mug six for short time. But finalized on 11 minutes with Mug 6.

you running around 130? Once I get the AC units, I might go back to that, but for now I'll stick with the 10, clients love it.
