I bought all my beds sight unseen except for my base beds...which i went and saw when i purchased them....and they are the worst of my lineup.

As i would have bought my sportarredo bed sight unseen when i was contemplating it from your husband. I wasn't offered a flight out to see the bed before i bought it....what difference does it make if it's the Leonardo? Or my King? Or my Dr. Kerns? Do you have a personal vendetta against beds sold through specific distributors?

They have nothing to do with my bed selection. They didn't call me and say "I have a tanning bed i want to try and sell you" I inquired as to who sells them in my area, i called that person and i placed the order for all my beds on my own because i knew what i wanted to get. Just like Renaissance is doing his own investigations and research and phone calls.

Okay....tell me where there is a Mastersun in Toronto and i'll go tan in it and if i like it, i'll buy it.

Please give me salon info of where it is cuz i'm in the market for another HP. It will be the first piece of tanning equipment i've tanned in before i bought.

Thanks.

You're kidding me right???????? whites are a minority in Canada now.....where have you been??????

But most of your clients, if you treat them well and know what your talking about, will not set foot in any other salon to ever know the difference
so what you're saying is screw what works best for the customer....my salesmanship will convince them that any bed I want to sell them will be the best for them.....

being a good salesman IMO is not the one who is convinced to buy something they don't need, but the one who was willing to buy a toyota corolla and was upgraded to a lexus GS.

I just think its crazy, when people will buy units expecialy when they are droping $30,000 plus, without even seeing the unit in person, but would make sure they test drove a vehicle that was even less $$ before they bought.
Buying a bed is not rocket science. Heck......I bought a $60000 corvette AND a $86000 mercedes without even testdriving them....Meters don't lie (right Steve?) If the bed has the "look" and the technology even on paper what does it matter? The leo columns are the same as the new saturns. If the saturn tans the way I want it why would the leo be any different......

Looks??????? just look at the pics in the 1st page.....how different do these beds look? They look the same if you ask me.....only that the matrix has no fan....on the other hand the colour of the leo makes it stand out more....

Rob is always more than happy to re embuse anyones flight to check out the mastersun either with us or in Saskatoon, or in texas, which ever they prefer when they purchase. he cannot go around giving out free vacations to everyone who asks about the unit. If your serious, then so is he. I think you'll find this the same with most distributors. We'd love to have you here Din! If you come to us ( nicest anways on Vancouver Island) well even book your flight out of our pocket and put you up.

It's not there anymore .

George says:
Dean...I don't understand why Tammy takes everything so personaly when it comes to people asking for info on any miracle sun equipment....I for one kinda like the look of the mastersun and would seriously consider one if I ever saw one in real life.....other than seing one in a show....which I havent been in one in a while.....no one here has one.....is that because they are inferior???? Dunno....

Dean says:
I like the Mastersun's look also and will be happy if it performed stronger than the King. The Leonardo performs like the Saturn which we know is very strong. If only there was a Mastersun anywhere near here that we could try. I'm not sure why a salon owner who says she has nothing to do with her husbands business forces the Mastersun on everyone and gets all defensive.
Dean says:
As a salon owner, i could care less if someone talked bad about the King. What do i care, i don't make them. FAKEM.

That was the only one in Toronto. I will be in Toronto around the 15th of May to talk to a few salons about High Pressure. If anyone is interested, let me know and I would be glad to visit with anyone.

So how exactly are we going to get feedback after a year of it being out, if nobody buys it to give their feedback and it sits in the warehouse? Are we going to take the distributors word for it of them having it in their own salons? What's the difference if they tell us their feedback cuz they have it in their salon or it's in their warehouse, or it's in italy?

We were also the first to have a King in Canada....the first to have a Sunsport Platinum in Canada.

We would still be waiting for feedback on beds if we waited. By that time, our competition would have brought in HP and made all the money and we would have been left in the dark.

Rob....come by and see me when you are here. I'm interested in finding out more about the Mastersun.

I love getting people all riled up on here.....i know Rob knows it's all in good fun. Tammy don't take it so personal. It's a slow day today. I've only been tanning people in 1 bed....the King. Good thing i didn't wait a year to get it otherwise i wouldn't have made any money....i need another HP bed....

Wow,

Thanks for the replies...

Din and W8 have been two of the FEW people that have actually been helping me out in this industry and are some of the very FEW whose opinion I actually value.

I have absolutely no intention on listening to anything regarding the Mastersun...

I have already been doing my homework and have narrowed it down to these two units...

So I would like to hear from people who actually have any of these two units running in their salon for over a month at least...

Like DIN already stated, lets's try and keep the Mastersun out of this...

I'm more intersted in hearing about the difference in filters, reflectors and lamp set up between the two beds...

So if there are any technical guys around here that genuinely understand and have extended knowledge in these fields then I'm all ears...

I am looking for a more of a "VHR on Steroids" type of tan and so far my understanding is that the Leo is the bed which is going to best suit my needs...

I also understand that the Matrix is not that far off, yet I have yet to hear any SOLID #'s in the difference between the two types of filters from any of the two companies...

So if the manufacturers are listening, you've got a potential buyer here, I'm not a tire kicker, so persuade me
