Wow UV2021,

She's a Beauty...

IMHO, It looks a lot classier and gives a much more "high end" appeal than the previous blue models... I can't wait until I come see it in person...

Very nice!

It is the same basic bed with pink or light purple accent lights. Most people will never see the bed lit like that, with the accent lights providing most of the light. Let me bring my studio lights, Hassleblad and a few filters and I can make the bed look like a dream bed or a big pile of junk.

Just talked to a guy in MO. who has a new Magic.

His unit came with the new Frosted Acrylic which I lobbied for....and it definantly makes the unit look even better.
Softer, which since 70 percent of customers are female....is nice.
And Misters that you can hold on till you are actually satisfied unlike UWE's.

Don't waste your time. The Acclaim is a low uvb Hp. Never was a popular choice for a Hp bed. I have some Heartland beds but the Acclaim was never in my top 10 list for a Hp bed.

They are great beds. I have only had one problem with them. The yellow bubble on the 6400 separated from the blue shell a couple of times but they sent their tech to fix it both times. The adhesive they used at first would not stick. Each time it happened the tech brought a new canopy shell and replaced it. I still think the 6400 and the 5400 are KBl beds or at least use a lot of KBL parts. The Crimson is just a rebadged KBL bed without a few bells and whistles.

yes yes yes...i just ran across kbl the other day....i totally agree with you...i was shocked when i saw the crimson being a rebadged...i take it kbl is a great line.....i know the beds i have r wonderful....i love them and my customers to as well...but i have so much trouble with cleaning the acrylics...they film up so bad... i only trouble with the control panel on the 5400...it fuzzes over completely sometimes but then i turn the breaker off and it clears the image resetting it....i have the 2m as well and the 3400 beds....

I was looking very hard at the KBL beds and then I came across the 6400 and 5400 at the show. When I looked at them, I saw a great deal of the two beds were alike, from the control panel to the lamp setup. I got a better deal from Heartland plus they have a 5 year warrenty. Also a couple of the guys I was dealing with from KBL made me a little wary about dealing with them. I just didn't like the way they did business. The main guy I was dealing with is no longer there.

I never have had a problem with the 5400 or with the control panels. I think I was one of the first salons to buy the 6400 and the 5400 from Heartland.

They are the only beds I have ever bought that I did not tan in them first but I had tanned in the Kbl beds so I felt that I knew how they would tan and I was right.

As far as the acrylic filming up, what cleaner do you use. We use lucasol "sp" and it works for us.

The Acclaim is garbage IMO. Low uvb (like low traditional, if you don't know what that means, don't buy a HP bed) lamps are extremely far from the client I found.

Just won't cut it in today's HP market.
