| After about 16 min the bed trips the wall breaker (not everytime, just most of the time). I've checked for shorts and nothing is visible. The voltage from the transformer is fine. Any ideas what to check next? I'll call Patrik later, but I'd like to get your thoughts this am. |

The capacitors when they go bad, they start pulling more and more amps then the bed requires, causing the breaker to trip. __________________ www.islcovetravel.com

OOPS! I missed the part about tripping the breaker. Your probably right!! I just had to replace all the capacitors in my Sunsport 2021 for that same reason.

Do I need to replace all the capacitors or is there a way to check for a bad one? I have a nice ampprobe with the clip thingy. Could anyone tell me exactly how to check those things? Last edited by coldgyn : 19th May 2008 at 02:10 PM.

Does that sound right? Thanks Brian for your old post I found on this. |

Those "flip" breakers only last so long then they get weak and start to trip every so often. Change it to a "slow blow, shotgun style" breaker with the big arm on it. Whatever style that is called. |

If it is higher then the breaker rating then you have bad caps, if it is lower then the breaker rating then the breaker is bad. You already have the ideal tool for the job. |

If you are over 85 you have bad capacitors. If you are 80 and amps arent the problem..check your breaker conections to the BOX and see they aren't burnt. Bad lamp wires would trip breakers in the bed so that isn't it. |
