I just want to be another member, post any valuable info i have that may help others, as well as learn, but here lately, seems right about the time a certain person came on boards, it doesn't matter what i say, in everyones eye's i have a hiden agenda. Even when i don't flippen post about it. they turn every post into a this versus that and drag my name into it. I don't want to be "rob" i never was, I just want to be a salon owner posting and reading like everyone else, who happens to love my equipment like everyone else, but im not alowed to do that, cause i have a "hiden agenda" its just so stupid. Look at brian following me around like something ready to pounce, and he wants to so bad that he pounces on me for something someone else said. but actualy I wasn't agry at all this time, i was actualy having quite a good laugh at brian desperatly trying to discredit me anyway he can. so desperate he couldn't even sit long enough to see the truth himself. Ive been a member of tantoday longer than most of you here, and never have I seen the moderators so rude as here lately. Even yourself tanning queen. how many posts does dolce have to have before they can speek up? thats just silly. so if I decided to use my other name Cove, or make a new one, suddenly i can't say nothing because Id only have a few posts? thats rediculous. People are letting their Mod status go to there heads. __________________ We are the creators of our own life experiences through thought. Thought becomes things, good or bad. Think positive. |

What had I ever done to you to deserve an attitude like that? If you want to be another member on here and post valuable info. Then ignore the kids and start acting like an adult...maybe the others will follow. Instead you instigate arguments. |

I already deal with Chris Perry and I'm meeting up with him in a couple days. We are buying some equipment from him.. Don't worry, I'm not coming near you yet .. I did my research a bit so, I know where you are... Your in White Bear Lake, right in the Birch Lake Plaza?I know my stuff but, I simply don't appreciate people attempting to bash or take over my thread with other stuff... Chris is a great guy and knows what he's doing that's for sure.

Quit with the Jeckyl and Hyde $h!t and post, leave your opinions, take some with you and stop feeling like you are being attacked all of the time. You generate the negative reactions toward you. You couldn't go back and study the pattern though since it is gone now. If you want to be treated like an adult then start acting like one. I pick on you because you are easy prey. Get some backbone and leave what you say intact, your credability is suffering from your behavior and I have plenty of members here that will back me up on that and plenty more that are not going anywhere, they are staying here. You may not like me and I don't care but plenty of people do and they tune in to see what I will say next. I am not driving anyone out of here that wants to stay contrary to what you may think.

| Moderator | HEck Tan, you jumped all over my when I said the guy should hold off on HP til he understands more. Right now, his demos are crazy and the salon is a huge failure. Why would I tell him to go ahead and invest in something that he would have a tough time selling let alone maintaining. Just because you have done well with HP with your demos doesnt mean everyone else will. Did you start out with HP from day one? __________________ |

I'm living proof any demographics can support HP, and that having or not having HP can mean the difference of make it or break it. I would NEVER open a salon withough HP. No Tanning queen, I didn't start with HP from day one. My distributor at the time told me bad things about HP, he told me to stay away from it, you just loose money, and my demographics wouldn't support it. I listened to his advice from 2000-2004 and i saw more years where i was minus and my best year i net profited 6,000. Thats when I had enough and was about to sell the damm salon. My BEST year of Gross sales then was 81,000. Yikes! June 2005 i added my first HP unit, my Sept that year was better in sales than my April! I know have 3 hp units in that salon, last year 2007 i grossed over 300,000 in that salon with 8 units, below poverty level income in that town and only 12,000 people to draw from, and that same year opened 2 more salons, one in march one in sept, the one in march did double by Dec, what my original salon did its best year pre HP. I opened that one right from the get go with an 818 and Mastersun. I wish i had opened right from the start with HP, there would have been a hell of a lot less tears shed for the first 4 years, and no ruined credit from the struggle i wouldn't of had. So tell me, why would he have a tough time selling HP? I for one am going to make sure he knows it inside and out. And yes everone would do well with HP no matter their demographics if they knew how to sell it like I do. I have taught 3 other salons as well all in completely different demographics and all 3 are successfull. One of them sold, for over 400,000. __________________ We are the creators of our own life experiences through thought. Thought becomes things, good or bad. Think positive. |

Or "no one will be disappointed" Golfhac here in SD went to Itan and used a 1050 and was less impressed than his 2021 or his Saturn. He used a KING and was blown away. It is installed now and it will kick the living krap out of a 1050 and look just as good too. If you mean between the Hammy and the 1050, then your right..I just don't consider the Hammy a real bed. | Rookie Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: San Diego Ca Posts: 29 | WOW....what a thread, Drew is right Din....I did go tan an the 1050 several times and honestly I was not that impressed.... I bought my salon from Drew with a sunsport 2021 & Ultrabronz 818....and just recently replaced the 818 with a King 420...and I could not be happier. I'm really new in this industry and only posted a few times ( I hope no one bashes me ) but I have learned that HP is "by far the best tanning experience you can provide". We installed the King and our customers "LOVE IT".......It's built of metal to last 20 years like the sunsport & ultraronz....and will just tan you butt off. Big Al posted availability of a King in an earlier thread but I can't understand why it is not mentioned here. I'm not going to dive into this polital debate on this thread but I will contribute that the King is an awesome bed. As a new guy on the block it's great to get info on these threads. |

| All Star Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Florida Posts: 109 | Island Cove, what type of demos do you need to support an HP? I am a newbie, I have the current demos. I know I need the women 25 - 40, 10% of that number. How do I figure in the HP? |

| Hall of Famer Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,122 | the same demo's you need to open any type of a salon. HP will work anywhere, you just need to know how to promote it. If your aprehensive, and there is no HP to compete with, just bring in an older used unit. get it started from there. One HP unit can acomidate the same number of different people that you would need about 3 vhr's to tan them all. its a great way to increase your income and upgrade your salon without adding extra rooms. even your basebed customers can be shown the benifits of HP over basebed, as long as your pricing structure helps it along. Minutes and unlimiteds don't help. lol __________________ We are the creators of our own life experiences through thought. Thought becomes things, good or bad. Think positive. |
