Who makes the King 420? Anybody got a website for it? I am looking at adding HP too but am not as familiar with the HP side of tanning. Brian, if you was going to add an HP unit to your salon, which one would you add? I know you picked the 1050 because it was one of the choices. But if you had your choice of any on the market, what would you add and why?

I would put in a Magic. I have one, want to buy it? Got a 1050 too, could also buy that one too.

I was just staying on topic here with this thread and out of those four I would do the 1050.

The Magic and King are made by the same Co. The King is just two columns short of the Magic. Good if you are a little tight on power.

Island Cove can have attitude if she wants. When guys do it, it is edgy or ...who cares, dudes a dick. But when chicks do it, everyone piles on and attacks..and girls are really wimps about being attacked. Everyone of the chicks I said was a ditz cryed and cryed and went away to tan talk saying the mean drew guy told me I was stupid.

Well, you may not be stupid, but you post stupid. Stupid is as stupid does.

Leave the covester alone...and cove baby. Ignore the attacks and post as if you didn't read them. I sure don't read mine.

You do have your choice of any on the market, but you need to get the unit that would be right for YOUR market. is your clients majority less than skin type 3, then you should look for a traditional HP unit, with the low burning, and if your clients are majority skin type 3 plus then you should probably look for a more agressive HP unit. if its 50-50, I'd personaly go with a traditional unit to best acomidate the under skin type 3 and get the 3 + clients to use a VHR unit every few sessions. or get two, one of each.

NOW, PEOPLE. Her post above was more intelligent than HALF of the posts about HP units in this forum. She has an extremely valid position.

A mid range but still 2 med or less uv-b unit like the Magic/Sunsport with mug6 will also be great BECAUSE the units have such high uva output...up around 120 or so ON THE SKIN that even if you go 8 mins you still get a "drew factor" of 960 mw2 for the entire session vs 500mw2 on a traditional vhr unit.

Lower output HP's need full session for good browning but high uva units..even higher uvb units like the Saturn can still brown exceptionally at a shorter tan time like 8 mins. This will accomodate type 2.5's and 3's , and still make the 4's very happy.
