Any thoughts and suggestions as to good ones to get and ones to stay away from??

Also is it common for a new set of lamps to go down 35% after 60 hours??

You shouldn't even take your first UV readings on the lamps until there is about 50 hrs on the lamps. Takes time for the mercury to settle in. Brand new out of the box readings can be misleading.

I love Light Source Lamps, Midday Sun 100w is a great 20 minute lamp. Beach Sun for 10 minute beds and Signature Series is absolutely wonderful for your premier beds. I also head 9k90's are good but I haven't had much experience with them.

I like to use the Goldarium S Plus lamps in my level 1 units. Nice brown color for most skin types.
