| Hi, I am new to the Helios Program. I am running ver 9 and I printed out a Profile Audit report (Thank you to Tantoday's forums for helping me find out how to do this from a prev post by another salon owner)to see what information is being changed via Master Edit. My problem is I am having a problem understanding this report. I see numbers which I believe are sessions but what does the dollar amount represent? Does this mean X amount of dollars are added as prepaid to a client's account? Quick background - I purchased a salon and the salon manager has a Master Edit password given to her by the previous owners. I am not there everyday and would like to understand what I am reading before jumping to conclusions. Thank you in advance for any help! |

Restricting the use of this type of password ie essential to data integrity. The ME (Master Edit) report is showing a snapshot of the profile BEFORE and AFTER any changes using the Master Edit Password. You should see in the first entry a "B ME" or Before Master Edit, and on the second entry a "A ME" or After Master Edit under the 'Stat" or Status column. Simply put, if there is a dollar amount change in the AFTER version, yes, money's were added to that particulat section of the Client Profile, i.e. Prepaid Dollars, etc... You can easily restrict accesss to these by changing the options in employee passwords. MANAGEMENT -> PASSWORDS -> 'Your access code Here' For ongoing operations, especially with an absentee owner, a manager should not need these. I would suggest upgrading to version 11.4, and adding internet access to the salon so you can do maintainence through BACKOFFICE. You can set up the internet at the salon so that there is no usage by employees, if you so desire, at the same time. |
