| Moderator | We finally got the Omega running but now the lights randomly come on. We have replaced all the lamps and ignitors and still some come on some dont. Never the same pattern. One customer will say all lights are on the next two or three are out then one will be out, occassionally none will come on or only a couple. All vents were cleaned and it has a 10 minute cool down time. Any ideas what could be causing this??????? |

Wouldn't have been surprised though if Leif or Twan had cobbled together some Frankenstein Omegas and used some UB 818 transformers, or something. As long as the correct type of ignitors were used, as I see it, gottatanfl's possible problems include low incoming voltage, heat problems possibly caused by those stupid plasic vents in the back, or overheating because of a weak/bad fan and bypassed flag switches, or maybe some bad/low capacitance capacitors. Filter glass switches should kill the whole bed, not just each lamp, so that shouldn't be the problem. On the other hand, depending on which version of 7 pin connectors for each canister were used on that bed, those could be a problem. |

| Moderator | I have one plastic vent in the back that the top is missing it has tape over it, I am ordering a new one today. Future Indusries Tech support didnt think that could be the problem though. I have my electrician coming back out today to double check the electric but...I cant see that being the problem as half the time all the light work and the rest only a few. I can have every bed in my salon running and all the lights come on in this one. Then the next time only 6 come on. We are waiting 15 minutes between clients to start the bed and the fans are set for 10 minute cool down. |

It is overheating. That is how the heat is sucked out of the top. It will break the filters eventually. Get the vent then determine if there is a problem. |

We are having the EXACT same problem with our Omega. I have been trying to find a solution for this for over 6 months. If one more person tells me to check the lamp or ignitors, I'll scream! I have talked to Jordon at FI-Service several times about this issue and he has run out of ideas. Not sure where else to go for hints. It is very random and VERY frustrating. When they finally all come on, you do the happy dance to only find out the next time that only 11 came on and one of those took 6 minutes to finally pop on. |

Same relay. The symptom is that the bed and the fan all quit at the same time or will rapidly turn on and off. |
