| pretty in pink Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Mass Posts: 139 | Update: I still have 2 beds that are not communicating with the T-MAX Manager. I did order an extra cable to test directly from the powerboard to the manager and the beds were then recognized and I was able to start the beds from the manager. So I'm led to believe it is the cables or the connectors. We checked the wall socket to the cable connector and it tested OK well the meter beeped when testing the wires on the socket to each contact. Now I'm really confused. Is there another way I should be checking the cables. Rooms, 1 3 4 5 are OK but Rm 2 and 6 and Mystic Tan number 7 is not recognized by the T-Manager. Any suggestion? I'm not sure what to check next. | Off The Chain Moderator Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: The Sun Doctor, Califon, NJ Posts: 6,486 | I take it that you have phone jack plates in the rooms and wires that plug into them and then to the beds, right? Well they test fine from the plate to the bed as you say but you need to check the wiring between the jacks and the manager or prior rooms to look for breaks. |

I had to replace 4 bed display timers, 3 communication chips and have to rewire the t-max system to 2 beds.... All this was from a lighting storm. It took a couple of weeks to troubleshoot all the problems but everything is up and running now. Thanks for all your help. |
