Hmm... I'm anti-office look. Make it interesting. Most customers from the joe-blow salon down the street admire our interesting color scheme and think our salon is more "exciting" and the bright colors draw attention and warmth. The next step is painting the ceiling a very dark mauve or black to really tie all the colors together.

Try using the same colors on the walls and ceiling...makes the space appear bigger and really looks dynamic.
