It's a cost issue.... most business owners do not have unlimited capital. I know I am working within a budget.

Currently, I have 17 different formulas so my PL customers can have a large selection.

I could have 5 formulas and 4 different bottles but who would know if people would like those bottles better than others?

So I picked one cool black bottle that matches others within the industry and offer a large selection of formulas.

The bottom line is simple.

I can do a very cool acrylic bottle for you on a custom run as well as packets of the products if you have the investment capital to purchase large amounts.

I agree with Greg on teh above teh the Tansium bottles dont have silk screen lables, go take a look again.

First your best selling product, as Greg has always said, is whatever you want it to be. BUT presentation means a lot. It needs to have some type of look to it. When you put it in the tanners hand they need to be able to say ahhhh. Then when you let them test it they need to say, that really feels good. Then after coming out of the bed they need to look like the product really worked.

I suggest to anyone to look into PL. I have my own lotion now (MR) and it is made a lot of difference in my profits. First train your staff to sell sell sell and then they can train your tanners. If you sell PL they have to buy from you. I am not saying they will not bring in other products but once you gain their trust, and you have a product that will give results, you can watch your sales grow.

Two questions:

1) How many of each of the 5 packets would we get for $8000?

2) Do you mean that for $20k we would get 2 different products, with a deliverable of 500 each of those .. so 1000 bottles total? What is the volume/bottle involved?

That would be my normal bottle and a custom printed label.

The cost depends on the formula you choose.

Label design and printing are the same any product you choose.

$140 for custom design
$450 for printing with lots of extra labels for future production.

Shoot, split that b/n 4 or 5 owners and let them pay for their own labels.

Unfortunately getting that many salon owners to agree would be like herding cats.

I guess it comes down to the quality of the lotion at this point.. if you factor in $2-4 for the bottle/pump/pain-in-the-ass-fee for filling them .... $20 per seems normal for this quantity, provided the lotion itself is comparable to a $50-60 bottle from DS or whomever..

Anybody out there ever tried GSK's stuff and liked it? Or didn't like it?

you should go to the Nashville show and see the product in person. Sometimes it looks better online than in person.

I do not know if Red Lime is going.

oh...in that case. Order some kits to see the product and test it out. I wasn't too impressed with the bottling from anyone so far....but that' just me. I think i may have higher standards as to what goes on my shelf than others.

greg gsk line needs to change the smell of the lotions, we got rid of them cuz we could not stand the scents, grapefruit was ok the others are to fruity texture was ok somethimes runny
