Default Maui Babe Tanning Salon Formula

Anyone ever heard of this, I got the email via facebook

Please take a look at our website www.mauibabecanada.com to see what we are all about.

Our product is made from NATURAL HAWAIIN INGREDIENTS.

Everyone who tries our product loves it, and becomes very loyal to it.

I would love the chance to get our product on the shelves of your tanning salon. Please let me know if you would like to try a sample of our product. I can forward you our wholesale pricing if you are interested.

Also, we are looking for a few salons in every province to run a special PROMO of our products with their clients. For these salons, we will negotiate SPECIAL PRICING during the PROMO periods.

Go to their website and click on the products link.

That stuff looks worse than Hoss Sauce.

Would never even think of putting something that crappy looking on my shelves.

Definitely will not find those ugly bottles on my shelves. You can private label a better product than what they are trying to sell you.

Those people who swear by the Eurotan products would be your cheap clients.

You are right, after thinking about it, one lady used the magic a couple times at $25.00. Complained it was too expensive, her friend said my 12 dollar and 14 dollar beds were too expensive, but they give her a great tan

Eurotan is sold in major drug stores and crap like that. Pretty expensive on the site when I have seen it for like $10 or less. LOL! used to trade that stuff in my salon all the time. Total crap. Was hard to clean off the bed too...

HT PL AG - confirmed.
Maui Babe is a brown paint. You put it on and it dries and chalks up on you. GROSS

The Maui Babe bottles look like industrialized cleaning liquids.

You couldn't find cheaper bottles in appearance. In marketing, we all KNOW, the package/appearance speaks volumes for the product itself. What were these folks thinking..

Have you looked at GSK's bottles?

I have a couple clients who use Maui Babe and they swear by it. I used it once and I hate the feeling of it. It's oily with chunks of goo. It's hard to spread, leaves streaks and smells awful. Not to mention it's hard as hell to get off towels. We used to have light blue and white towels. We had to buy a few dark brown towels for the bunch of clients who use this lotion. One client in particular who's been coming to us for some 5 years now has only used Maui Babe the whole time and her tan is amazing. So I'm at a loss. The girls who use it refuse to use anything else. Except me. bleck, it feels like i'm rubbing motor oil mixed with vaseline on my body. Smells about as good, too. But like I said, this is the only place I've heard negative things about it. I refuse to stock it, though. I'm not buying new towels every two weeks.
oh, and one girl told me she saw it stocked at a party supply store...

I just had a customer come in and say this is the best lotion she has ever used. It is very hard for me to believe just by looking at it though.
