You are right, after thinking about it, one lady used the magic a couple times at $25.00. Complained it was too expensive, her friend said my 12 dollar and 14 dollar beds were too expensive, but they give her a great tan ![]() | |

| Moderator | Eurotan is sold in major drug stores and crap like that. Pretty expensive on the site when I have seen it for like $10 or less. LOL! used to trade that stuff in my salon all the time. Total crap. Was hard to clean off the bed too... |

In marketing, we all KNOW, the package/appearance speaks volumes for the product itself. What were these folks thinking.. |

| Rookie Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Las Vegas Posts: 3 | I have a couple clients who use Maui Babe and they swear by it. I used it once and I hate the feeling of it. It's oily with chunks of goo. It's hard to spread, leaves streaks and smells awful. Not to mention it's hard as hell to get off towels. We used to have light blue and white towels. We had to buy a few dark brown towels for the bunch of clients who use this lotion. One client in particular who's been coming to us for some 5 years now has only used Maui Babe the whole time and her tan is amazing. So I'm at a loss. The girls who use it refuse to use anything else. Except me. bleck, it feels like i'm rubbing motor oil mixed with vaseline on my body. Smells about as good, too. But like I said, this is the only place I've heard negative things about it. I refuse to stock it, though. I'm not buying new towels every two weeks. oh, and one girl told me she saw it stocked at a party supply store... |
