Default Body Drench's N'Dulge, Shine On

This was by far the most generous stand at the show -- gave a huge tote full of samples and a full bottle of your choice. That's why, even tho I've never considered bringing it in, its the first I tried.

This one is a shimmer bronzer -- well, it said it was a triple bronzer but it came out of the packette white.

And thick. The second ingredient is PARAFINIUM. I'm not sure if that's a very good thing to rub on, is it?

The scent was just ok, slightly medicinal which I don't mind. I feel slightly waxy tho, and I went really light with this -- most of the packette is still left. I do have a nice shimmer, but I forgot a towel and was worried about touching my blk clothes with this sh!t on my hands.

I reek but good now. Really icky. And I even used the MysticFresh spray that's made to mask these scents. Might resort to a Freshen Up cloth soon, but I don't want to lose all the illuminators.

Who knows what kind of color I might get.... I still have a lot of color from the VersaSpa spray I goton Sunday.

Does ANYONE like Body Drench???

Is Parafin a good thing to rub on your skin? I was thinking it was up there with mineral oil and vaseline as a cheap filler/base for lotions. Its just after water in almost all of this line.

You must have gotten your bottles and samples the first day of the show. They told my girls they would have to buy them from a distributor. They said they could give us some names. We did get a cheapo bag. I even tried to buy one of their scrubs and they would not sell it to me.

I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure paraffin is a petroleum byproduct. Therefore that waxy feel you had.

I do know paraffin is good for skin rejuvenation. But, I would think when tanning it would just put a film on skin.

Frankie I got them Saturday -- a whole bottle of your choice -- I got "cold shoulder, with a little facial bronzer that clicked into the bottle itself, 2 in 1 -- plus multiples of the N'Dulge line, the ones with the tiki images, and the very bland yellow-bottle line. Plus the cheap tote.

I hated applying this lotion -- isn't it awful when you want to wash lotion off your hands?! But I did like the subtle shimmer. I'm into shimmers these days... MysticGlow is the BEST hands down. Then CalTan has a shimmer spray, smells like Poison.

Do not care for Body Drench. Got some with a package deal on some fixturews I bought. Didn't care for it. Couldn't move it, either.

What I found...

I did a search on Google for "Paraffinum" and found that its actually just a fancy name for "Mineral Oil"... and this is what this website said about Mineral Oil:

http://www.wildcrafted.com.au/Chemicals%20in%20Skin%20Care.html

"Liquidum Paraffinum is an exotic sounding way to say mineral oil (!!) See Mineral Oil ...>> Petroleum by-product that coats the skin like plastic, clogging the pores. Interferes with skin's ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders. Slows down skin function and cell development, resulting in premature aging. Used in many products (baby oil is 100% mineral oil!) Any mineral oil derivative can be contaminated with cancer causing PAH's (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). Manufacturers use petrolatum because it is unbelievably cheap.
-Mineral oil
-Liquidum paraffinum (also known as posh mineral oil!)
-Paraffin oil
-Paraffin wax
-Petrolatum

So yes, it's mineral oil.
