I always hear people talking about how they have a ton of free samples from the distributors. I was just wondering what you have to do to get them?

I would get them when I had events. If you are using Tan & Health, talk to Melissa and ask her about how to get some for your next event. They will also toss in a few when you order stuff. In hopes you try it and like it.

Yeah we just started dealing with Tan and Health. I really like them but so far i have placed like 4 orders and nothing. We were thinking of doing a free tan day in a few months so i will let them know. Thanks!

Ask for them...we have gotten ones for events but if you are ordering and want to try something new or are thinking of changing up what you carry tell them and ask for samples and they will send them to you.

Four Seasons has told me you have to ask for them BEFORE THEY TOTAL YOUR ORDER. But a lot of times if you ask for somethign specific they will hook you up.

I've found TWTans is the most generous with freebies and goodies... Easy to deal with but they are smaller and don't have every little thing you might need.

You should also build a relationship with your distributors. As well as the manufactures.

You would be surprised at all the goodies I have gotten in past years. I still get some BUT times are a changin and free goodies aren't like they use to be.

Remember back in the day you saw 'suitcases' rolling on the tradeshow floors? I personally am glad they have curbed the freebies at the shows. Don't take it if you don't really think you'll like it and stock it. Not worth it for your salon or the manufactures/ditsies.

Times have changed. Be specific on what type product you want for sampling, ie. tingle, no tingle, bronzer, no bronzer..,
