Lewiies tanning is owned by Vernon Johnson which is a tanning salon owner. I believe every manufacturer has tried to put a stop to him with no luck. Everyone on this board should load his website email box up with mail. He has been on my DO Not Sell to list for four years. He would have his family buy the olition if he had to...

"DO Not Sell to list for four years"

what the hell do you guys do, seriously, you act like this is hard to stop. The sherman act is not a factor anymore. Set price minimums.

I'm sorry Devoted, I like your product and it is becoming my showcase lotions, but no one is TRYING to put an end to this. It's just a front put on to give us salon owners hope.

How about we all load up Devoted's email, along with Sqeeze's, Millenium's, etc. You have no standing to criticize any company's business tactics.

My point is that Henry, due to his affiliation with OL Products and their "family" of brands -- R-Sun, Millenium, Squeeze, etc. -- has forfeited any right to judge who's business practices reflect the best interests of our industry.

Online sales hurts our industry as does using despicable telemarketing sales tactics year after year to push lousy lotions on unsuspecting salon owners. By associating himself closely with the predominate telemarketing harrassment lotion company, Henry is tainted. He wants to play the role of good cop and have us ignore the bad cops working in the office next to his. Thus, he has no standing in judging the business practices of others.

ok so how exactly does Lewies get his products..and he is always getting the new stuff pretty quick....I know that prior to me being a salon employee a year ago and also a very recent silent partner(LLC) i did check into him...i emailed, asked him basically just was his stuff the real deal and was it old...he said what i wanted to hear and never mentioned he is a salon owner as well...so now that you mentioned that, and that it wont ever be stopped, does he just order lotions(from distys) acting as a salon owner and then posting his stuff for sale online..........so he is making money hand over fist, while im pinching Lincolns to get my bulbs changed for the season

telemarketing sales is annoying...YES....but how is that ruining our industry? Because they are selling directly to the salon owner....I don't understand how that affects us as salon owners?

Do they call your clients and sell to your customers at your cost or below your cost?

Other than telemarketers being annoying....i don't see where you're going with this?

Praying on unsuspecting salon owners?....They call me and i say , no thanks....if they are unsuspecting, shouldn't it be the job of the salon owner to educate themselves? Because someone calls and asks them for their CC # over the phone....without going through their disty...lotion company or not....why would you give out your CC # over the phone to someone you don't know?

Can you explain ...?

There is also no Australian Gold, California Tan or Swedish Beauty on that site.

Yet there is every telemarketed brand on there. I don't think any distributor in the US carries 1/2 those brands on that website.
