i tried it and didn't like it. Strong after tan odor, not great smells to them even before application. Stain and streaking on some of them.

Decided not to bring them in cuz of all that.

I agree that the OC TenX has a terrible after odor tan. Like the Overnight celebrity best. Smells like Cake Mix. The new ones this year: OC Gossip seems to be pretty good as I think they have learned some lessons about trying to put too much DHA in them. The over Confident for no bronzer is the newest. Both have the skin emulsion that feels good on the skin. Don't really care for the smell of either. After I get rid of these, I probably will not reorder any more. I like the new Devoted Creations line that I got in better.

There is tons of info on OC on the site as well as info on all the questions you have posted. Doing a search is a great way to find answers to many of your questions.

I think you should buy the balance of my OC inventory. I'll cut you one hell of a deal.

Another salon owner a few towns over from me that I went to the show with loves the OC line. However, I'm not sure I can trust her judgement in lotion because she hates Devoted Creations (yet she continued to hit them up for free stuff the whole day after telling me how much she hates them) But apparently it was cuz they are the same company? I have no clue thats just what she said. But anyway, she loves the OC stuff and it sells really well for her. Her demo is high school kids though so that might play a part. I have never used them so I dont have an opinion.

I think both products are made in the same facility near Tampa, Florida. I am leaning more towards the DC line. People really like the OC Ten and the Overnight Celebrity though.

If you make me a really good deal I'll take those two lines off your hands

We've carried the OC line since June 2007. We absolutely love it!!! First ingredient is Aloe Vera (most other lotions list water first). The customers absolutely LOVE the fragrances. They eliminate the after tan odor. Also, they go on uniformly and absorb really well into the skin. You don't feel like you need to shower afterwards. I haven't had one single complaint regarding streaking. My customers love it and so do we!!! The products are great!
The only downside is you have to buy a bunch at a time. Call and deal with a girl name Chick. She's very friendly and has always done well by me. She will definitely deliver what she says. Tell her Frank sent you to her.

Ah, the topic of conversation that got me to join this group.

First off, let's just say I hate hate HATE high pressure telemarketers - I realize we all have to make a living, but there's just something sort of ICK to me about dealing with them, and they seem to have it in for me. It's a symbiotic hatred, and I'm cool with that. That being said, after I supposedly made one of the RSun babes so irate her boss made her send me a sample pack, we tried their stuff. Two overbuys later, I guess I can safely review their whole line, good and bad, as we've now moved about 250 units of it.

Over Confident? Worth the hype and the one product out of the line that IS worth stocking. Maybe it was the fact that I myself got some of the best results I've ever achieved in 25+ years of box-baking without a bronzer tips my vote in its favor, but it's a solid product that I have had several repeat buys of.

OC Mix - Nice smell and consistency, average to good results for a non-bronzer.

Overnight Celebrity - Lowest tan factor, least interesting smell, but a three star lotion.

Still Summer - Initial response good, then it tapered quickly.

OC X - Nice packaging. So-so lotion.

Out Of Control - Fire, I need you to burn. It's the feeling of dermabrasion on your skin without the end result. But that's only as I see it. My tingle customers love it.

Gossip - Here's the scoop.....it's a dud.

So in short - Over Confident worth it, the rest not so much.

Wow! I was amazed at what I found when I went to the BBB of Florida...I guess they are all in this together. Many of the names and phone numbers matched all the companies...

They are just 8-10 miles from me...just was not aware of all the complaints on the BBB site. I know OC was driving our staff crazy with phone calls. It was just like the movie "Boiler Room" if you have ever seen it.
