Default Lotion Packets

Does anyone sell the sample lotion packets. I know they say Not For Resale, but do people do it anyway?

NO. It is tacky and makes you look cheap. It isnt like you are gonna make much off of them anyway. Just use them as the samples, like they are labeled.

No....i keep those for giveaways on Free Tan weekends and other promotional days i offer.

When you ask your disty for free lotion....it's not always enough...so stock pile that crap and now you have enough for your events.

I didn't think so. I gave a sample packet to one of my new membersa , and she ask why didn't I charge her for it I told her it was a sample. She told me that the salon she used to go to sold them for 3 dollars.

Does it SAY not for resale on it? If they are the regular packets then sure, sell them.

If it says not for resale then you look very cheap and tacky charging for it. As Dean says, just save them for giveaways.

I just got a ton of those NOT FOR RESALE cal tan, sb and ds packets. They arent even full packets! only.34 oz? whats up with that? I have to give 2 to each customer just so they have enough to use for one session! If i dont, then people will get streaky from not using enough and then it wont sell a bottle. Plus I got a bunch from the Boston show which were supposed to be part of our $650 worth of retail products. well if I have to give them away there is no value to me...Unless it follows with a sale, which every knows, when you start giving them away, they are perceived as worthless. Then clients want free ones all the time! I'd rather get real packets and sell them instead of giving out the free-bees. I certainly wouldn't try to sell the free ones.
well, maybe on ebay...NOT!

You could always open them up and put them in cuppies and sell them for $3 or $4. Then tell them what kind of lotion it is so you can sell the bottle afterwards. Or even say, these are $4. When you use it and want a bottle I will take $4 off the cost of your bottle.

Throw a couple in for "free" on your biggest package sales...customers love anything they get for "free".

My current "lotion special - limited time only" has been going on since Christmas...already on my 3rd lotion order just to keep up!
