I am testing out this line and would like some input...What are your favorite products and why????What products sell themselves? Thanks for all the help we are getting busier everyday and I cant wait to see how it compares to last year!!!

My top sellers are Golden Grace, Colors of Unity, Needing Nirvana, Sacred Tryst and Praise. Next tier is With Love, Mon Ame, Seeking Serenity and Devoted to Couture. Then the rest fills in the spots. I carry the full line of Devoted as well as the full line of Pure. In the Pure line Pure Energy and Pure Sky are my top sellers.

You will sell what you like and what you use. I've had the line since Jan 07 and am very happy with it.

The green line is harder to sell as it doesn't have packets. I am selling off what I have and won't carry it again unless packets come out.

With Love does well (although i am the only one that can sell it) I talked a lady that wanted something in the $20 range into buying it

yeah people are pretty happy with what i have from them.. i am bringing in with love monday.. my dissy is out of packets on that .. but couture lotions, praise and vision do well and the face stuff too ..

i think the smells are more bareable for clients.. as well as consistency of lotion

My only beef with devoted is the approach on diversion. It is selling, however more and more is coming in from outside sources. A label on the back saying only garanteed when purchased at a professional tanning salon would work for me shit even designer skin gives me that.. If I don't see it by 09 I will be looking for another lotion line.

I agree Tiff.

The Mon Ame and With Love isn't out there but everything else is. Buy a packet from me, love it, and find the bottle online. Unfortunately, with DCs popularity comes branding and with branding comes more diversion of that product.

I do think that Lewis said that he did note the request to begin marking bottles with a statement like you suggest.

I've been considering Tanology and the time may be coming.

We did tanology last year. The hated the smell, the packaging, and the consistancy.

MR International is doing really well in our salon and no diversion Take a look on ebay, and search all lotions that are available online. I do carry CalTan to fill the holes in price point but my lotion shelves look hot with the 2 product lines and they sell.

I am not fond of any of the Devoted Creations scents to be quite honest. Love the Bronze Candy by Supre.

Isl, what don't you like about the fragerance? Our customers love it. Not only does it make your skin feel moisturized, you don't have the after order. It also gives you incredible results. It replaced our Designer Skin.

Soapy smell...Seeking Serenity smells good at first (scent of heaven, whatever that's suppossed to mean) but scent changes while tanning.

Thinking about it more, I had a Nirvana returned, said it made her "spotty". I don't smell much of anything with this. Unity not bad but you glitter after tanning...

But what REEEEALLY will that do? How many people actually need a guarantee. DO you offer exchanges or refunds if it said that? I don't.

Hahah I had one customer who was using the Adore I think, and she said she smelled like Curry after and it's grossing her out a bit.

Yea, I don't know why some things change like that but the room sometimes smells rancid... Bloom was like that I thought and the other, Leather and Lace. We hated when this women came in and used it. Smelled like something burning. It came with a voodoo doll attached to it!!! I think the doll did stuff...

Leather & lace should have given off a nice fruity smell that went throughout the salon. something was wrong

It might have been a reaction with her skin. Could be she had some wicked toxins that reacted with the lotion which caused the smell. I have several clients who love Serenity and everyone says they love the scent. Is she a smoker? Maybe she was wearing perfume? Don't know, just guessing.
