With Love

Boy, I gotta tell ya, I got some GREAT results from this stuff.

I hadn't tanning for over a week and used With Love in my Gen X (standard 160w, not 9K90's). Four days later and it's still the most natural looking tan I've ever gotten from a lotion. Great moisture, no ATO.

I'll give it another go round in a couple of days, just to make sure...

My husband sold his first 2 bottles yesterday. I thought he had one the lottery when he called to brag....

I tried to order some, but they were out of packets...my girls sell packets like they are going out of style. Cant have a bottle without the packet, at least not in that price range.

Whoo Hooo! Just had a girl leave. She had a bottle of something from synergytan. Said she had used a packet of With Love 2 days ago and decided to use her bottle of lotion today. She came out and said what do they put in that. I got at least 2 shades darker with the With Love than I did with this stuff (showing me her bottle). I said, good stuff for your skin. She said, I want a bottle.

Same here Eyecandy... I am out of Cypher Packettes and they are on back order. I pulled a bottle of each (bronzer and non) and cup it out to perspectives to try, most buy the bottle once they try it.

I got no love from With Love so far. Or Black. Too spendy at my place. Hopefully it will make a $60 bottle look good.

Everyone that smells the With Love doesn't like it. But when they smell Mon Ame, they love it and buy that one. With Love is a hard sell when they have tried both.

Lewis....you need to make With Love have the same fragrance as Mon Ame. The only difference is the bronzer in it...right? So make it smell the same. The smell it has right now...doesn't make people buy it up. They are willing to pay $150 for the lotion, but not when they smell it.

I've reordered with love only once, but mon ame has been reordered 5 times.

Make with love smell the same and i think we'll all be happy campers. It's still early, so you can do it on your next batch........trust me. Have i ever let you down? LOL...

In my opinion things should be that simple as well.

for every fragrence, there should be an accel version and a bronzer. I'd imagine though the added DHA would cause the ATO to be differnt.

Agree With Love smell is to flowery for male clients. Mon Ame is nice though.

I would have sold a With Love yesterday but he said it smelled like a girl. He wanted a bronzer so he bought Nirvana instead.

I agree scents should be close to the same with like products.

Lewis we really need a For Men lotion, one with and without a bronzer. Nice manly scent - cloves or something like it - manly looking bottle - good for hairy skin - absorbs well (all of yours do anyway) - around $60/$65.

I don't think a "manly" lotion is what is needed.

Here's an example.

Fiji Blend - Impulse

Smells clean, like soap, Herbal Essence shampoo. Smells great, that a man would wear....but women would obviously use it cuz it smells like shampoo...

THAT is what can be sold to both. And when a man asks for a man's lotion, you give them that and tell them it's perfect for men, applies easily and smells clean.

But can also be sold to women by telling them it applies easily and smells clean.

WIN WIN Situation.

If you create a lotion just for men, you just lost 75%-80% of your client base that you can sell it to.

A nice black bottle that is unisex and not pink and stuff will appeal to both sexes. A clean, fresh scent will also appeal to both sexes. (i.e. AG Accelerator smell)

80% of my clients are women.....me stocking a man's lotion will eliminate potential sales to them because it says FOR MEN on it and it smells like cologne.

Kathe, if you haven't tried Fiji Blend- Impulse....order a packette of it next time from your disty and smell it. That was my #1 accelerator in sales last year....to both men and women. Neutral color, unisex look, smell and application. If Devoted came out with something like that in a neutral bottle for both.....it would be a big hit.

Glory for one could be a great hit if only the smell was changed to smell clean instead of like cherry's and almonds. That's a great lotion with poor smell.

The only thing that sells a lotion the most above what you tell them is, the look of the bottle and the smell. THAT"S IT.

So when you put 2-3 bottles in front of them that have no bronzers, and tell them the benefits of each....and they are in and around the same price. They will pick the one that smells the best. Every single time.!!!

And most don't want to smell after they tan....so something that smells like soap, clean......who would ever complain about smelling clean.

I agree with Din, I like Impulse, but I like the scents of tansium better. That bottling is just classy looking in my opinion. Naming is also important to making it a unisex lotion.

If I was a regular customer, I'd probably not buy something named with love. Just imagine the guys laughter if the got a glimpse of that bottle

There was a womens 30minute work out gym next door to me that closed down. mainly because they cut out 50% of the market by targeting only women.

Kathe, you are an example of that....if you catered to women only, you'd lose half your customers.

So you need to have products that cater to BOTH.

A simple shelf will sell 10x better than something that looks cluttered and has 50 different lotions.

12-14 products is more than enough. If they were unisex, smells and packaging, you'd sell a lot more.

Too much product will confuse them. 90% of lotions are pretty much the same....just different packaging, smells.

do you really need 10 different bronzers on your shelf?......not really.

Keep it simple.

Try Hammer by Supre. Our guys love it. and it is hard to keep stocked in bottles or packets. It is an accelerator. I agree with you that DC needs a more manly or CK like scent and bottle type for guys.

No, if you are going to carry a lotion by supre for men and women, make it supre, you can still get the same markup on it even if you have to lower the price.

Thanks guys. I have some Figi Suede coming in this week so I'll see how that goes and then try some of the Hammer. I haven't been a fan of Supre in the past though so not really sure about that one.
