It's called caller ID. You might want to check into that.

Wow... I would have never thought of that...

I should have known that when it says "out of area", that must be Millenium calling. I guess I need to avoid all of those, even though one of them may be a client. Thanks for the help!

I think what we need to do is set a date and time and we all call at the same time. It would drive them crazy.

Good luck to everyone....their address by the way is Seminole Blvd. Largo, FL 33770 and their number is 800-373-6866.[/quote]

I had Laura send me a couple of samples because she said she couldn't stand them calling me because she had taken me off the list so often and they still called, so she sent me 4 packets of Paint it Black and I didn't find it that great. Some of my customers tried it too and they weren't impressed either. I do carry DS, AG, Supre, Devoted Creations and I find their products far better than Paint it Black. I have just about all of my customers tell me that we carry the best around in my area also and I will not carry any of those companies. I had one girl come in in the last 2 years and ask for something from Millennium and I told her that I do not carry them but I can get just about anything thing else she wanted so she bought a tingle from DS and she loved it and was so much happier with that than the other one she had from Mil. I have had Squeeze, OC, and Rio and my customers aren't that happy with any of those. Plus, the price you end up paying for all those by far is so much more expensive than anything that I can get from my distributor and the markup isn't that much either so why bother. I do get some of the OC products from my distributor now so that one is ok, but only from my Dist. so I will NOT buy anything from any of those companies direct again. I did buy stuff from Squeeze, and it didn't matter to them that I already bought from them, they continued to call me just about everyday trying to sell me the same thing that I had just purchased.

I am glad that you like their product because you are one of the few. Good luck with them and you should make sure your customers are happy too, that is the main priority and if they are with those companies than that is great!

Just got another call from them from a "Tony", I explained to him that I had already spoke to management about them calling and told him again "DO NOT CALL HERE ANYMORE" and hung up. He calls back and gets rude with me, so I hang up again. He calls back again from a different number and says "let me speak to the manager"... I said "I am the manager" he said "let me speak to the owner", ... I said "he doesnt want to talk to you either" and hung up again. I call the 1-800 number and spoke to Laura who is supposedly one of the mangers and told her what had happened. Right after I hung up with her, "Tony" calls back and says "You ****ing listen you little bitch, I dont know who you think you are" and I hung up before he got any further... I immediately called Laura back to let her know he called yet again, and that I was going to seek legal action against their company.

Isn't this the company that makes "Paint it black" and a lot of other popular lotions ?

Yeah, THAT is the way to make a sale and a life long client. NOT!

What assholes. They should get jobs as bill collectors, they seem to have the same qualities.

Thumbs down Re: Millennium Tanning Products!!!%$@##$&

Millennium, OC or R-Sun, Devoted Creations, LAX, Olio, Rio, Squeeze, Kava Kava International and Vegas Tan are all owned by Health and Sun Research Inc....All of which make many popular brands of lotions and all are on file for not so above board business practices with the Better Business Bureau in the State of Florida...I advise everyone to take a moment to look them up....and if you ever deal with any of them...make sure to use a Credit Card and not a check so you can get a refund when you are unsatisfied.

"Russel" just calld me he was very rude!! he 1st calld and had music up really loud in the background and since it was an unknown # i hung up, he then called back. I wish I'd seen this post b4 i tried to contact them monday after a girl wanted painted black or somethng like that. i wanted to know a little about the product and pricing and if they could send out a few samples b4 i purchased. that pissed him off. he said they are the #1 bronzer and best advertised in the industry (really thats why ive NEVER heard of it). He said hed put me on a list and if im lucky theyd send me samples next mnth but that he looks out for people who spend money first. i understand looking out for ur customers but being a jack as* dsnt get new customers!!! i just said ok well thank u and he slammed the phone dwn lol!

Don't let them fool you...they are equally mean to existing customer that have spent thousands of dollars on there products. We were lied to...talked down to...and called everything imaginable. I suggest that no one have any dealings with them at all...but...if you have to carry any of their products...get them thru a reputable distributor such as All Hours. If you have any purchase directly from them...i can not stress how important it is to pay with a credit card only and never by check.

OK, I was told by Laura that "Tony" was fired immediately after our conversation, so if anyone else gets a call from "Tony" (has a deep voice and sounded slightly ethnic maybe), let me know that I have been lied to. By the way, we now have a recorder on our phone line, so now every time they call, I get name and company, and make sure I say very clearly "Do not call here again"...

Unfortunately for all of us...businesses do not have to maintain a "do not call list" to other businesses. Some will if they are above board, but most do nothing with your requests.

Log rudeness with the Better Business Bureau. You can do that on line. They must have a license to sell somewhere.
